"He said he knows yours sins" Robert said weakly. He was just recovering from the sedatives that had been administered to him. His head was still shaky and his vision was a bit blurry but he could clearly notice that all his wounds had been bound up and treated.
The last thing he could remember before passing out was Aaron attacking him, questioning him about his brother but before he could even say a word, the enraged boy had knocked him out with a punch to the face.
He didn't even know how it happened, it had all happened so fast. A smoke bomb had dropped into the room they all sat in and soon enough, everyone was dropping to the floor unconscious.
Robert had just left to get a cup of water and when he returned, he had seen these man making their way out of the roof carrying his friends on their shoulder and he had instantly attacked. He was outnumbered and was easily outmatched and beaten up, just before his self acclaimed godfather had stepped inside the house.
The men had left him after beating him up and had made off with Nathaniel and the rest leaving him out for some reason. It was almost as if they knew he would leave at that exact time before they dropped their sedative and knocked the others out. He understood Aaron's rage but he had to believe him when he said he did his best to protect the others. He wasn't gifted as they were and he had lost way easier than he had expected.
Edmund watched Aaron by the corner of his eyes. He could still see the rage that welled up in the boy even though he did his best to conceal it. He was always quiet and it made concealing his rage a lot more easier than it was for normal people. It was as if he was used to this. If he hadn't stepped in to stop him from attacking the already beaten up Robert, things would have ended badly than they were now. No one knew of this action apart from him and the just awakening Robert.
Seeing Aaron remain as calm as this even with everything that was going on inside him made him wonder what other things this boy might be hiding inside. This his ability to remain calm in situations like this made him appear a lot more scarier than his opponents could even imagine.
Aaron sat alone by the side of the room, his chin rested on his arm while he watched everything that went on. He watched as Robert regained consciousness and couldn't ignore the fact that his uncle was constantly watching him through the side of his eyes, but none of this really bothered him. What bothered him the most right now was his brother, cousin and partially, flora's safety. He couldnt stop blaming himself for loosing the cart and the thought of it only angered him the more. He finally snapped and without talking to another single person, he marcehd up to his room.
Sian watched her son closely, while bathing in regret that hadn't stayed home. She was also the regretting the fact that she wasn't being honest with her children and if they had told them before hand, they might have been safe. If they hadn't kept the truth away from them, Aaron wouldn't have wandered off after them and might have stayed home, and chances were that he might have been able to hold back the enemies but there was also the possibility of him also getting captured. She was completely out of her mind at the moment but what she felt was nothing considered to what Harold felt.
Harold was completely numb and hadn't even said another word since he had heard what happened. He didn't even want to go home because he had no excuse to give his wife for not keeping their daughter safe. She had already lost a child before, and there was absolutely no way he was returning home to her without their daughter.
Lucas sat beside Hayley and Robert and did his best to provide the best comfort he could. He had been mad when he had seen his son in his condition, but after the others had relayed the information about the Elemental killer, he had suddenly become thankful that his son was still alive, and had immediately declared a search party for the missing children. He never realized that such evil was happening in town. He had just received the information and he could already tell this was much worse than anything they had ever seen before. This was pure evil.
Warren joined his wife, he already knew all that she was thinking about and did his best not to throw more coal into her already burning furnace. He sincerely hoped that it wasn't what everyone was thinking that was actually happening. But not accepting that fact made him a complete fool without a second guess. What bothered him most was the fact that they had less than six days to rescue their wards. They already know that the serial killer dropped the body of his victims on the seventh day which probably meant that he killed them on the sixth night
Warren honestly didn't want to think of anything bad happening to his child or any of the abducted victims. They had absolutely no lead or even a clue about this elemental killer and with only five and half days to rescue their children, they probably had a lot of work to do.
Joseph sat aside, his rage for Lucas and the others for their crimes had suddenly dwindled the instant he heard of his sisters abduction. He cursed and blamed himself for ever leaving the forest with those delusional children in hope of a better lifestyle. If he had remained in the forest, his Flora would be safe with him and he would be happy, but now she was gone and there wasn't any trace to where they could be.
He tore his hair out of their roots in frustration, while hot tears rolling down his eyes as he thought of the horrible things that could be happening to his sister at the moment. She was all he had, the only reason he was alive. Without her, his life was completely meaningless and he had no reason to live any longer. She was the string that still tied him back to this world and if that string snapped, then his life would end also.

Sian left Warren's side, the silence between them was not helping matter's at all. If he had nothing to say to her, then it was better she spent the time she wasted down here comforting her son and possibly telling him the truth. He deserved to know.
She walked into the room without knocking only to find him curled up on his bed, with his face buried in between his knees while he cried out his eyes. This was the first time she had seen him cry in the last decade. Even if he had cried other times, it was almost impossible to notice or even catch him doing it.
She climbed up to the bed and wrapped her hand around him. He had suddenly began wiping his tears but Sian didn't care, he was free to cry. The only reason she wasn't crying was because she couldn't find the strength to. Crying wouldn't solve anything or bring her son back home, so it was much better she kept her head clear and focused on finding her abducted child instead of crying.
"It's going to be alright" she consoled the boy who had suddenly turned and hugged his mother now weeping into her shoulder.
"It's all my fault, I let them get away" he blamed himself, sniffling in the snort that threatened to flow with his tears.
"It's not your fault" Sian assured as patted the boy on the back while he soaked her with his hot tears. She suddenly she made a shocking realization. If Aaron had seen them, then there was a lot more chance to finding this serial killer. "Did you see these men and where they went?" She asked calmly not wanting to make it look like she was interrogating her emotionally scarred son.
Aaron nodded slowly in her arms before wiping his tears with his free hand.
"They got away, i couldn't stop them" He explained pinning the blame on himself once more, but Sian had once again tried to convince him that it wasn't his fault.
"Do you recognize any of those men?"She asked, her hand wiping her son's tears and at the same time caressing his red and swollen cheeks.
Aaron racked his head, he could identify the man that he had beaten up with only one glance but he was sure that he had never seen hin around the area before but another face had suddenly struck his memory. The wind Elemental. He had managed to see his face when he fell over after the cart had tipped sideways, he wasn't sure but he knew this was a face he had seen somewhere else, and luckily he had just remembered. "The blacksmith"
