"Kiana-chan, you might not have noticed it, but your right eye is golden," Mei said, worried.
"What?" Kiana exclaimed, touching her right eye. "What's going on?" she thought to herself, her worry evident.
Then, a familiar voice echoed in her mind. "What are you doing to my Mei?" the voice said.
"Huh?" Kiana said, confused.
"I said, what are you doing to my MEI!!" the voice repeated.
Kiana looked around, searching for the source of the voice. "What's wrong, Kiana-chan?" Mei asked, confused.
"You don't hear it?" Kiana asked.
"Hear what?" Mei responded.
"I'm in your head. I'm the original Kiana. This memory of yours is quite intriguing, so I didn't show myself for a while, but your actions towards my Mei are too much," the voice said. "Switch with me."
Kiana's vision darkened again, and she closed her eyes. "Kiana-chan?" Mei called out, but Kiana's eyes opened, now golden, surprising Mei.
"Kiana-chan, your eyes," Mei exclaimed. Suddenly, Kiana jumped toward her and hugged Mei tightly.
"Mei!" Kiana shouted. "I missed you so much!" she added, surprising Mei.
"Huh? What's going on?" Mei asked, bewildered.
"Sorry, but it looks like I won't be back for a while," the original Kiana said.
"Huh?" Mei said, confused.
"Mei, the me with blue eyes is not me. I'm like possessed, but don't worry, she's doing this for her quest. Once she's finished, we'll be back to normal," the original Kiana said as she lost consciousness again.
"Kiana-chan? Kiana-chan!" Mei called out, but realizing Kiana had just lost consciousness, she gently laid her back on the bed, her heart heavy with concern and confusion.
"What's going on with Kiana?" Mei thought to herself, puzzled by the recent events. "Being possessed? And the blue eyes one is not her?" She was deep in thought when suddenly, the door opened loudly.
"What the!" Mei exclaimed, turning towards the door. "Who are you?" she asked with a serious face, extending her arm protectively in front of Kiana.
"This is Mei," Bianka thought to herself, quickly coming up with an idea. "I'm her relationship manager," Bianka said proudly. "Ms. Kiana suddenly lost consciousness, so I came to check on her. It would be bad if something serious happened to her."
"Re-relationship manager?" Mei asked, confused.
"Yes, since you're the heir of MEI Inc. I'll tell you. Ms. Kiana's relationships are managed by me," Bianka said.
"What does that mean?" Mei asked.
"As the princess of the Kaslana family, her marriage can be used as a strategic tool against other companies or to strengthen the Kaslana conglomerate," Bianka explained, approaching Kiana. Suddenly, Mei blocked her path.
"Her relationship? Is this a joke? Because if it is, it isn't funny. The Kaslana conglomerate is the biggest business in the world. They own numerous companies across various industries. They are the richest conglomerate in the world. Why would they need someone like you to manage their family members' relationships? It doesn't make any sense," Mei said with a serious look on her face.
Bianka sighed, recognizing Mei's determination. "I understand your concern, but it's true. The Kaslanas take every aspect of their lives, including relationships, very seriously. It's not just about business; it's about ensuring the right alliances and protecting their legacy."
Mei looked at Kiana, then back at Bianka. "I don't care about the business reasons. Kiana is important to me, and I won't let anyone, not even a 'relationship manager,' dictate her personal life."
Bianka softened her tone. "I see your point, Mei. But right now, Kiana needs our help. Let's focus on her well-being first."
Mei nodded reluctantly. "Alright, but I'm not backing down on this. Kiana's happiness comes first."
"Agreed," Bianka said, as they both turned their attention back to Kiana, determined to help her through this strange and challenging situation.
After some time, Bianka noticed that Mei kept glancing at the clock on the wall. "Are you going somewhere?" Bianka asked.
"What do you mean?" Mei responded.
"You keep looking at the clock," Bianka explained.
"Oh, I'm sorry about that. It's not like that. I'm just confused because Kiana's twin sister hasn't arrived yet even though it's very late," Mei explained.
"You mean Bianka-sama?" Bianka asked.
"Yes," Mei said.
"She won't arrive. She's currently in a meeting about her and Kiana's marriage," Bianka said.
"What do you mean?" Mei shouted, visibly shaken.
"Please be respectful and don't shout," Bianka said calmly.
"I-I'm sorry," Mei said, trying to regain her composure.
"Bianka-sama and Princess Kiana will be married next year. This hasn't been made public yet, but the Master has already chosen their partners," Bianka explained.
"Kiana-chan will get married?" Mei thought to herself, her heart sinking. "This can't happen," she added, looking at the sleeping Kiana.
"What did they say?" Mei asked, concerned.
"The Master's words are absolute, and it's only reinforced when the Madam backs them," Bianka said.
"This can't be," Mei said, distraught.
"Huh? What's up with that reaction?" Bianka said.
"This can't be. Kiana-chan must have refuted Mr. Kaslana's decision," Mei said, standing up.
"She did. She said that she'd marry you," Bianka said, staring at Mei.
This surprised Mei to the point she started to cry. "I'm with that as well," Mei added.
"The Master said that if Princess Kiana disobeyed him, he would make the MEI Inc. collapse," Bianka said.
"No way," Mei said, covering her mouth. "Even so!" she added, sitting down again, her mind racing with conflicting emotions.
"Who are you to Princess Kiana?" Bianka asked.
"I- I'm her girlfriend," Mei said without hesitation, her face serious. "I'm Kiana's girlfriend, and we're planning to get married," she added.
"I see," Bianka said, wearing a satisfied smile.
"Eh? Wha- What's going on?" Mei asked, confused.
Bianka suddenly put her hands together in front of Mei and bowed. "I'm sorry!" Bianka said.
"What?" Mei asked, dumbfounded.
"My name is Bianka. I'm this idiot's twin sister," Bianka added as she sat down again.
"Eh? Wha- WHAT!" Mei exclaimed.
"You've been in the mansion, right? We haven't met yet because I've been in training for my father," Bianka explained. "My name is Bianka Kaslana, the eldest daughter of the Kaslana family."
"My name is Raiden Mei, the heir to the MEI Corporation. Nice to meet you," Mei said, still processing the sudden turn of events.
"So, you two really have a relationship. Wow," Bianka said.
"I'm sorry we kept it a secret," Mei said as she bowed in front of Bianka.
"No, it's okay. You both are from famous families, so revealing this will only complicate things, especially since you two are both girls," Bianka replied.
"Thank you for your understanding," Mei said.
"Right, Ms. Bianka, something is definitely going on with Kiana's body," Mei said. "Kiana's eyes turned golden just now, and she said she's possessed."
"What do you mean?" Bianka asked with a serious look on her face.
"Kiana woke up with glowing golden eyes, acting like her original self. She told me that the one with blue eyes is not her and that her body is possessed by someone who has to do a quest," Mei explained.
"Can you tell me how she's been doing at school?" Bianka asked.
"Kiana is actually doing well in school," Mei said.
"I see. If what you said is true, we need to talk to her again. I thought her change in behavior was a result of her amnesia, but was I wrong?" Bianka pondered, her concern deepening.
"What should we do?" Mei asked.
"Since it's come to this, I'll tell Father everything. I'll also help you with your relationship," Bianka said.
"Th-Then please take care of us," Mei said.
"But first, let's do something for Kiana," Bianka said with a mischievous look on her face.
After some time, Kiana woke up and saw the two in front of her. "Hmm?" Kiana said. "Where am I?"
"You're in the infirmary room," Mei said. "You collapsed suddenly, so I brought you here."
"I see, thanks," Kiana said.
"Kiana, you there?" Kiana thought to herself.
"Yeah, what?" Kiana responded internally.
"We need to talk," the original Kiana said. "This situation is getting out of hand. If you continue to act like me, you'll only make things worse for Mei and everyone else."
"I know," Kiana replied. "But I can't just leave your body like this. I have my quest to complete."
"Then let's find a way to work together," the original Kiana suggested. "We can start by being honest with Mei and Bianka."
"Alright," Kiana agreed. "But how do we explain this to them?"
"We'll figure it out together," the original Kiana reassured. "For now, just trust Mei and Bianka. They can help us."
Kiana looked at Mei and Bianka, determination in her eyes. "There's something I need to tell you both," she began, ready to explain the situation and seek their support.
Suddenly, Kiana watched everything start reversing. She saw everything revert as she was blinded by a flashing white light. It felt like watching a video rewind. After a short, grueling time, Kiana realized she was standing in front of the school again.
"Wha-what just happened?" Kiana asked herself, a little panicked as she looked around. A screen popped up in front of her, stating, "You failed the task, restarting again." Kiana read it and thought about it. After some time, she walked towards her classroom. "No one should know about this, but why did it revert quite late?" Kiana thought to herself.
After a short time of thinking, Kiana arrived at her classroom and got ready. "First, I need to get out of here. I should reject her this time," Kiana thought to herself. "For now, let's finish the class," she added as she stared outside the window. Everyone was staring at her, and she could hear her classmates talking about her.
"Is something wrong with her?" one of her classmates said.
"I can see it just from her expression alone," someone else said.
Determined to handle things differently this time, Kiana focused on the task ahead, ready to make the necessary changes to avoid another reset.
After some time, the bell rang. Kiana immediately stood up and tried to leave but was stopped by Bronya.
"Looks like everything will happen just as it did last time," Kiana thought to herself as she looked coldly at Bronya, which surprised her.
"What is it?" Kiana asked.
"Where are you going?" Bronya asked.
Kiana shook off Bronya's hand. "It's none of your business where I'm going," Kiana said as she walked away. "Wow, I nailed that beautifully," Kiana thought to herself as she headed toward the rooftop.
While walking, Mei saw her and ran after her. After arriving at the rooftop, Kiana lay down on the bench and stared at the sky.
"I should transfer," Kiana said to herself as a shadow blocked the sunlight.
"Kiana-chan," Mei said happily.
"Raiden-san?" Kiana replied, which surprised Mei.
"H-Huh?" Mei exclaimed, confused.
"I'm sorry, but I have short-term memory loss, and the doctor said due to memory loss I have a behavioral change or something," Kiana said as she sat up, her face still cold.
"I-I see, sorry about that," Mei said as she sat beside Kiana.
"I know who you were to the original me, but please don't expect the same thing from me now," Kiana said, looking at the horizon while Mei stared at her.
"If that's what you want, but can we be friends again?" Mei asked. "Your memory loss is only temporary, right?" Mei added.
"I don't know when I'll have my memories back, but until then, please don't get closer to me," Kiana said coldly.
Mei looked down, hurt, but nodded. "Okay, Kiana-chan. I'll give you space," she said softly before standing up and walking away, leaving Kiana alone on the rooftop.
Kiana sighed and lay down again. "Looks like I won't need to transfer. I still don't know the rules about this punishment world," Kiana thought to herself as she stared at the sky. "I want to go back to the Martial Peak world now. I want to use my powers!" Kate, inside Kiana's body, thought to herself. "For now, I'll just go as usual."
After a month, Kiana became a loner and started taking her studies seriously, surprising everyone. Due to her new cold personality, she gained a new title at the school. At lunchtime, for the first time in a while, Kiana went to the cafeteria. As Kiana lined up to get food, everyone insisted that she should go first.
"Thanks," Kiana said, getting her lunch. After getting her food, she looked for a table, and the students immediately offered her one, which she took. While in the middle of her lunch, Bronya approached her.
"Can I sit here?" Bronya asked.
"Go on," Kiana said without looking at her. Bronya and Mei sat opposite Kiana.
"Why did you eat here today?" Bronya asked as she started to eat, but Kiana stayed silent. Everyone could feel the awkward situation, but the usually noisy cafeteria became very silent due to Kiana's presence.
"Looks like I won't get a reply from you, huh," Bronya added.
"D-Don't interrupt her, Bronya-chan. Just let her be," Mei said to Bronya.
"If you say so," Bronya replied. "The exam is next week already," Bronya said. "Should we study together?" Bronya said to Mei.
"I see, that is a good idea. We should study at my house," Mei said. "Wh-What about you, Kiana-chan?" Mei asked.
"I'm good. The lesson is quite easy," Kiana said as she finished her lunch. One of the kitchen staff approached their table.
"Kiana-sama, let me take care of this," the staff member said.
"Thanks," Kiana said as she stood up and walked away while everyone stared at her.
While walking back towards the classroom, Kiana's thoughts were racing. "It's been a month, but nothing has happened yet. What should I do with this punishment world?" she pondered. "That mysterious person said I should distance myself from Mei, but this isn't punishing me—it's only punishing Kiana. Is there something I'm missing?" she continued to think.
"Distance myself, huh? But that mysterious person is quite playful and crazy," Kiana thought. "Should I do the opposite? When we interacted the first time, nothing happened. But how should I approach her? Should I slap her?" Kiana mused. "And then kiss her immediately?"
"Kiss who?" a voice behind her said, surprising Kiana.
"It's just you, President," Kiana said, recognizing Fu Hua.
"Who would you kiss? We're in an all-girls school," Fu Hua said.
"Mei, of course," Kiana replied.
"I see. Looks like you remembered now," Fu Hua said.
"I don't," Kiana said.
"Then why would you kiss her?" Fu Hua exclaimed.
"For an experiment?" Kiana said.
Fu Hua sighed. "Enough joking. Let's go back to the classroom," she said.
"Okay," Kiana replied. As the two left, Bronya and Mei, who had been eavesdropping from around the corner, started to talk in the hallway.
"Kiana-chan talks to the President normally. She's only like that to everyone except the President," Bronya observed.
"But Kiana said she'd kiss you. It looks like, even if she forgets, that body's desire is still there, Mei-neechan," Bronya added.
"Should we play with her?" Bronya suggested, but just then, the bell rang.
After a long time. Kiana Is at the gate Waiting for her Car. Kiana saw Mei waiting with many students gathered around her. "She's very well liked. I bet their group is even more famous if I just didn't appear," Kate thought to herself. "Should I do that experiment now?" Kiana pondered. "Hey, can you give me a tip? I'll let you take one of my powers," Kate asked herself, but then quickly changed her mind. "No, I change my mind," she decided, as she began walking towards the group of students.
"Look, the Ice Princess is approaching," one student said.
"Should we go?" another asked.
"No, she's probably just passing by," came the reply.
Kiana reached the group and stopped, causing the students to part nervously. Mei looked up, surprised to see her.
"What is it, Kiana-chan?" Mei asked.
With a sudden determination, Kiana raised her hand and slapped Mei across the face, the sound echoing through the courtyard. The students gasped in shock.
Mei stumbled back, her hand going to her cheek. "What?" she exclaimed.
Bronya arrived, holding two drinks, and saw what had happened. "KIANA, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" she shouted, rushing to help Mei.
Kiana stared at her red hand, frustration and determination in her eyes. "It didn't work. Okay, Plan B," she thought.
"What am I doing? This is making me uncomfortable. I always wanted to play the villain, but this is very different," Kate thought to herself as she reached Mei. Bronya blocked Kiana's path.
Kiana stopped in front of Bronya, towering over her, and grabbed her collar. "Kiana, stop! It's me you have a problem with, right?" Mei shouted.
Kiana pushed Bronya away, immediately grabbing Mei by the collar and kissing her. "Eh?" Mei thought to herself as she saw Kiana's eyes change to golden and then fade back to blue.
Mei pushed Kiana away and immediately ran towards Bronya. "Are you okay, Bronya-chan?" Mei asked.
"Yeah, I'm okay," Bronya replied.
"That's good," Mei said, turning back to Kiana. As Mei looked at Kiana's face, she shouted again, "KIANA-CHAN?!" Mei ran towards Kiana, who was now bleeding from numerous wounds that had suddenly appeared on her body. A screen appeared in front of Kiana, stating, "You completed the punishment quest! Now go back immediately and run."
Kiana glanced at the screen, relief washing over her despite the pain. "It's over," she thought as everything around her began to fade.
