Chapter 7 - LoveGame

It was quiet… and warm. Pleasantly warm.

It enveloped him, a soft and nice touch; an all too familiar feeling—something Katsuo had experienced a few times before—and he bucked his hips upward, seeking more of that warmth.

Mmm…

It was good. Too good for that matter. He could feel the wetness of it, and he desperately thrusted into whatever was driving him crazy with pleasure, trying to get more.

His eyes closed tightly, unfocused, and he let out a soft moan. A hand clenched the sheets while the other explored south, coming into contact with a human head with soft hair.

Curiously, he propped himself on his elbows and glanced down. Small wet noises could be heard coming from between his legs, and he watched as the head eagerly continued its movement.

He breathed a curse, his hand massaging the head's scalp, fingers going through the soft hair. It was only then when he cupped the face of whoever it was that was doing this to him—when his hand lifted up the person's chin—that he saw two brown eyes looking up at him, lips smiling—

Katsuo's internal chrono beeped, alerting him to wake up for school. Tiredly, he deactivated the alarm and rubbed his eyes, trying to wake himself.

As he was getting up, he stopped and lifted the duvet. His face twisted in disgust at the sight of his briefs stained, morning wood as present as the sunrise.

"Ugh…" he grumbled, quickly making himself to his bathroom and discarding his ruined briefs in the hamper.

Turning on the shower, he changed the water preset to cold, not wanting to deal with his morning problem. He shivered as the cold water hit his skin, holding his breath as his body slowly got used to the temperature.

For a while, he stood under the stream, relaxing as the rainfall trickled down his face and back, letting the cold water wake him fully to start the day…

Reminiscents of the wet dream came back to him, all too clear. That was David, he was sure of it. No other choom had eyes like those, very seductive and submissive. No one else donned that kind of haircut, all buzzed and pompous.

Katsuo liked it, and he wished his dream didn't get interrupted by his chrono. And yet, he felt shameful. Conflicted.

Glancing down, he saw he was still aroused, the cold water doing no favors to him today. Guess it can't be helped, he thought as he took himself in his hand.

———

David sat in his seat in silence. He could hear Katsuo and the other two chooms talking—something about their homework assignment and the questions that ensued.

He paid them no mind, wanting the class to start already. Another day, another lecture, and with that came another homework assignment. It wasn't fair to cram all that work load in when they were almost approaching an essay they normally did this time of year. David knew the date had yet to be announced, but it was always seasonal. He was so zoned out in his thoughts that he didn't realize Katsuo was calling him.

David turned around. "Huh?"

"You still sleeping, Martinez? I asked if you had any trouble with the last question we had," Katsuo asked, looking at him. David could see the other two choombas staring at him too, both waiting for a response.

"Uh, y-yeah—kind of," David said, remembering he actually ended up going to sleep at two in the morning trying to come up with a concise response. "Had to stay up late for that one."

Katsuo turned around to his friends. "See? Even he had a hard time with it…

The three of them continued to talk, criticizing each other at how they handled their homework while David listened, trying not to laugh at their bickering. Then he heard Katsuo say something: "… he's actually smart… bet he managed to get a good score…"

David's face warmed up, and he had to look away as he tried to stifle his smile. Damn it! He had forgotten his crush was literally right next to him. Who knew such small things could trigger an involuntary response.

"Good morning, class," the AI instructor greeted. "Today's attendance, zero absences…"

David softly sighed as he adjusted his outdated braindance wreath. About time class started.

———

This time Katsuo didn't immediately leave after their class was dismissed. No, the trio talked as they casually passed David, who was still in his seat, placing his BD wreath in his school uniform blazer pocket.

It wasn't until Katsuo was going to rest his hand in his slack's pocket—like he always did—that David noticed his index finger hooking in a motion that signaled him to follow. It was done so discreetly that there was no way his two chooms could've noticed. But it was done fast, and the trio was now heading towards the exit.

David quickly got up and followed suit, but kept a good distance from them. From earshot range, he heard Katsuo exchange goodbyes before walking the opposite direction from the other two. He met David's eyes for a brief second before continuing at a normal pace, David towing not too far behind.

He should've known Katsuo would lead him to the same bathroom where everything started.

"It's empty. We're all alone," Katsuo assured as he watched David enter, leaning back against the sink, hands in his pockets. "I was beginning to think you didn't catch my signal."

"'Course I noticed. I'm not stupid."

"Never said you were," Katsuo said. He fidgeted visibly. Right, down to business. "Listen, about your offer…"

David's ears perked up, and he watched as the rich boy nervously scratched his right temple cybernetics.

"…I accept," Katsuo managed to finish, shyly looking away.

David had suspected much. Whatever leftover anxieties still lingered were now slowly dying off.

"Ah, ok." He didn't really know how else to respond to that, and there was still the problem of the location. Hopefully Katsuo wouldn't mind David's apartment. "We can go to my place and—"

"Absolutely not," Katsuo cut in firmly, giving him a sharp look.

David rolled his eyes. Of course. "Look choom, I don't see us having many options to choose from."

"Oh yeah? Well I don't think stepping into 6th Street territory is a good idea."

"Yeah, for you. Relax, you'll be fine," David assured.

"How can you be so sure? I did my research, David. That place despises Corpos."

"I walk to and from school everyday wearing my Arasaka Academy uniform—out in the open and in the crowds—and I'm still breathing," David pointed out. "Besides, where I live it's not like that. There are pockets of them here and there, but that's more inland."

Katsuo cursed in his native tongue. "I still think it's a bad idea."

David joined him in leaning against the sink, pondering. A moment passed before David spoke again. "Wear a disguise," he said nonchalantly.

Katsuo scoffed, giving him a confused look, a blue eyebrow raised. "You can't be serious."

David shrugged. "You don't want to be seen, right? Just cover your hair, face—I dunno, wear something that'll make you blend in with the rest of us," David explained, making motions with his hands.

Katsuo thought about it, weighing in on his limited options. He could just have them go to a hotel and check in a basic room—

"There's a stall right there, Katsuo. Why don't we just—"

"Ugh, fine! We'll go to your place," Katsuo groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose in annoyance. Although he wasn't looking, he could feel David smirking in victory.

All that was missing was the date. "Cool… So when do you wanna, y'know?" His leg bounced up and down in anticipation.

"Tomorrow. After school," Katsuo said quickly. "I'll meet you at the NCART station in Memorial Park."

David side eyed him. There was something about Katsuo's gaze as he stared ahead that he couldn't quite make out. Maybe it was the dedication. Or maybe it was the fact that he didn't actually expect Katsuo to come through with this, placing his bets that the rich boy wouldn't be interested in exploring his sexuality.

He got ready to leave, saying, "'Kay, then it's a date—"

"It's not a date, Martinez," Katsuo interrupted, eyes narrowing.

Jeez… David brushed it off. "Just an expression, choom. Anyways, see ya later."

Katsuo watched as David gave a small wave and smile as he left the bathroom, leaving him alone to his thoughts. He peered down, thankful he tucked himself in his waistband before David got here, his erection not noticeable. But it was slightly uncomfortable.

Time to go home…
