There was also the petite champagne Sixth Sister and Little Sister Su liked, alongside rolls of crispy sugar candy.
Business was booming at Sister Chrysanthemum's provisions shop, and with it was an ever-increasing variety of goods. Butchers from the neighboring villages would sell their meats to Sister Chrysanthemum, while fishermen sold what they caught to her.
Sister Chrysanthemum's sales were amazing, in no small part to Su Wen, who was her biggest customer. Things were hectic in Su Wen's house, with so many mouths to feed. Her family consisted of seven sisters and the three men staying with them: Zhou Hengyang, Xu Xiaoxiao, and Shen Erkui.
They did not have enough food at home to feed a household of ten - more so when the appetites of those three men eclipsed all seven sisters combined! With her sisters growing up, Su Wen felt it was important to prepare nutritious meals, accompanied by soup, to meet their dietary requirements.
