Zou Yi tucked Zhou Hengguang in and turned to get him a glass of water; however, he was halted as Zhou Hengguang grabbed his wrist.
"What's wrong, Big Brother?" Zhou Yi, worried, squatted down again. "Do you have something to tell me?"
Zhou Hengguang's eyes, slightly squinted, slowly opened, revealing a clear yet distant look, tinged with a hint of confusion. The high fever made his breathing gradually heavy, "Ah Yi, do you think it's my fate that everyone will leave me eventually?"
Zhou Hengguang's voice was deep and hoarse. The shadow cast by the light accentuated his dense eyelashes, like crow feathers, and his high nose bridge, making his figure exude an indescribable sadness.
Zou Yi had never seen this side of Zhou Hengguang, his Big Brother like this.
"No, Big Brother, don't overthink it," Zou Yi said, stifling the uneasy premonition that raced in his heart, his voice soothing.
"Be good, rest for now, I'll call the family doctor over."
