Kat pulled up in front of the gated driveway. She sat at the gate for quite some time looking, I awe at the beautiful home that laid before her.
It was a modern grey home with floor to ceiling windows. There were freshly trimmed hedges surrounding the entire home. A few flowers were sporadically placed in between to bring color to it. Certainly a bachelor's pad.
She couldn't see inside of the windows because of the protection film over it, but she certainly could tell that there were no lights on. Meaning that Wolf had not made it home yet.
She reached for the key ring, and pressed the button on one of the keys to open the gate. She relaxed back as the gate slowly opened. She was still fairly reluctant to go inside so she sat a bit longer in the parked car.
The same manly scent of teakwood filled her senses as she leaned her head back. It was near close to 9pm. She had been at the office since 8.
Although she was tired, she was truly content. It had been quite some time since she had the feeling of accomplishing something. It brought back memories that were not as old as it seemed.
Memories of when she was striving to move up with the company. I'm a way, by striving higher, it put her into this position. The position of meeting Richard. Closing her eyes, she breathed in slowly. Savoring the scent in his car until she slowly drifted off into a deep sleep.
Wolf walked up to his car parked the gate. Looking in he found a very beautiful Katalina inside sleeping behind the wheel. Christian walked up beside him to attempt at a peak but thought otherwise at the sight of Wolf glaring at him.
He tapped quietly on the window so as to not startled her. She didn't open her eyes.
If he remembered correctly, she was a deep sleeper and had a hard time being woken up by soft noises. But what was he to do? Bang on the door until the glass broke?
Reaching out to grab his phone from his jacket pocket he dialed her phone.
Surprisingly she startled awake and dropped the phone in her lap under the steering wheel. She made too quick to recover the phone as she ended up bumping her head against the steering wheel, sounding the horn.
Wolf did a slight chuckle at this sudden but of amusement. She rubbed her head and finally realized that someone was watching her.
She looked over at him with wide eyes through the glass window.
He signaled for her to unlock the door as he put his phone back into his pocket. He opened the driver door and reached in. Without saying so much as a single word, he bent low into the car and leaned in front of her.
She was still in the same position that she had frozen in, rubbing her forehead. Her eyes were wide on him as his face neared hers. His head was mere inches from hers as he bent down in front of her in the car.
She slowly closed her eyes. Wolf grinned and started at her. For some reason, the expression with her eyes closed signaled that she wasn't waiting on a kiss. She was anticipating what?
CLICK! Her eyes flew open at the sound of her seatbelt unfastened. She locked eyes with him as she realized that he was just unbuckling her seatbelt. Nothing more.
Grinning, he pulled back out of the car and extended his hand to help her out.
