Aara was so lost in her thoughts that she did not realise when the car had stopped to reveal a very huge villa, grey in color. It was beautifully designed, with flowers and trees everywhere.
Aara looked over to the garden area and her eyes twinkled in awe. What a big villa. She thought, stepping out of the car.
"You should not be faster than your master, Aaralyn"
Aara innocently turned to him and swallowed. She nodded and slightly bowed.
"Sorry master"
Yes. This was what she was supposed to do. Serve him and do as he says. After all, she did not own herself. She was Lucian Grey's property.
The Butler and maids welcomed Lucian, looking at Aaralyn with a questioning gaze, which made her feel uncomfortable.
"Take her to my room" the butler nodded as the maids followed them. The villa was a five storey building, and since the elevator was only used by Lucian, Aara and the maids had to walk using the stairs.
"This is the master's bedroom. I have no idea why he wishes for you to stay here but anyways, clothes, makeup, and other things you will need are here. The maids are here too. Get to know them"
Aaralyn nodded and watched the butler leave. Butlers were always nice but this one was excluded. Was it because she was a slave?
Right...slaves were not supposed to be treated correctly or in the right way. The rest of the maids left, closing their noses while only one remained.
"Is there something wrong with me? Do I smell awful?" Aara asked the maid, who was smiling at her. The maid laughed at Aara causing her to smile sheepishly.
She took Aara inside the room and showed her her reflection on the mirror. Aara's eyes almost bulged out at her appearance. She looked dishevelled. She closed her eyes. This was what Spades made her look like and only showed her beauty when she had a show.
"Can i fix this?"
The maid nodded and took her to the bath tub.
After a lot of washing and rinsing, she was finally done with Aara.
"You look beautiful even without makeup" the maid looked at Aara pouting. Aara just smiled. She thought the maid would never talk and continue smiling and nodding at her. Seeing Lucian walk in, her smile faded. The maid cleared her throat and quickly left the room also seeing Lucian.
"Don't get too comfortable. Let me remind you that you are just a slave here, understood?"
Lucian spoke, scanning her from head to toe.
"well it is not my fault I'm here. i was a free bird before my parents sold me. it was not even my choice, and I did not know I was sold to a person with such a character. If I had known, I would have killed myself instead"
Lucian smirked at her words and gave her the knife from the fruit table. "Not sharp enough? wait..."
He left, shortly coming back with a gun in his hands. "Here...kill yourself"
Aara looked at Lucian with wide eyes. He took her hand and placed the gun which felt a little too heavy for her to even carry.
"Master why are you giving me this?" Aara was about to walk away from Lucian when he gripped her hands, pressing her back against the wall with his body.
"M-ma"
Lucian scoffed. She could not even carry a gun and spoke of killing herself. Such a weakling.
"You dare speak to your master like that when you do not even know how to carry a gun...then you will be punished" Lucian sneered as he looked at her innocent face, eyes locking into her amber eyes, which caused Aara to look away.
"I have three simple rules, Aaralyn"
"And if you do not follow them, you will be punished" Lucian growled, feeling her heart pound like she had just ran a marathon.
"what are the...rules?"
"One. Obey me"
"Two. Do not meddle with my business"
"Three..."
He went closer to her, leaving only an inch of space between them. There was no proximity between them causing Aara to forget to breathe. What was Lucian doing to her now? What a perverted and shrewd man. She felt Lucian grab her waist and his lips went to her ear. Aara closed her eyes tightly, expecting him to do or say something but he did not.
Aara finally opened her eyes to see smirking Lucian walking away.
"What is the third rule?" getting no answer from Lucian, Aara sighed as her stomach rumbled. She almost forgot she was hungry and had not eaten for a while now.
"Could I atleast get some food?"
"Meet the butler"

Watching Lucian and Aara leave together with a dozen of black cars, Matt received a phone call.
"Speak, Nate" He muttered, entering his car.
"Boss, we have moved them to the warehouse"
"Hmm...what are your ideas about them?"
"One of our factories has a shortage of workers" Nate answered.
"So?"
Hearing Matt's impatience and annoyance, Nate could only swallow. He guessed something bad must have happened or he had encountered with Lucian.
"S-some of the Uhm...slaves are actually good. Perhaps we could employ them...?"
Matt just tut his teeth as he began to drive. Employ them? He did not care about the slaves. The only reason why he did not burn them along with Spades was because he wanted to please Aara, and he was going to tell her but he saw Lucian. He had found interest in Aara which was unusual, only for him to find out that Lucian had already bought Aara since she was born.
"Look. I don't care what you do to those people. It is none of my business. Just do not tell me anything about them again. Am I clear?"
"Yes, Boss"
Matt hung up. "Fuck!" He cursed, hitting the steering wheel forcefully as he drove. It was all Lucian did and could ever do. He always did it. Always took the things that he should have had right from when they were little children.
He remembered what his mother, Katherine had told him. Lucian's father, Garfield and Katherine were to get married. Their parents got them engaged right from when Garfield was five, and Katherine, just a new born. They had a good relationship and planned their wedding to be in the next five months.
Garfield then had a four months business trip abroad and two days before that trip, Garfield and Katherine had an intercourse. After Garfield left for his trip, Katherine found out she was pregnant and wanted to tell Garfield when he came back from his trip but he ended up bringing a pregnant lady, who he had married home.
Although Garfield knew that Katherine was pregnant through her baby bump, he told her to leave and told Lucian's mother, Lara that Kathy was just his maid which he had fired. He denied her and left them with nothing. No shelter, or even any food and never even tried to visit them.
Matt gritted his teeth, remembering what Kathy told him. He brushed his hair with his fingers, visibly pissed which caused the butlers, maids, and other workers to be terrified. If they did or said anything, Matt may shoot them, so all remained quiet, watching him from a distance.
Lucian had always taken what Matt wanted, whether it was business related or other things. Matt could not understand why Lucian was just better at everything than him. He cursed again.
"No...This time, I will get Aaralyn. No matter what"
