Chapter 7 - Chapter 07

This morning I will start to work, ignoring Arjuna who is busy with his camera and cell phone on the bench. The man with the dragon tattoo always makes me uncomfortable, because he goes back and forth taking portraits.

Inside the room was like a child, Arjuna admitted that this was the first time he was in a room with an Air Conditioner (AC) equipped with a complete projector. His office is not as luxurious as this, because indeed I asked to provide full facilities to his father.

Because the watch slowly showed lunch time, I stopped my action while staring at the wall of the room. An object that is displayed clearly directs the time to fill the stomach. Right with Arjuna, I stopped work.

"Bro, your office is really big. The chair is comfortable, being here is like entering a refrigerator," said Arjuna casually.

"Hmmm ... the name of this room also has two air conditioners, yes, it's no wonder it's cold. You're weird anyway, it's really cold everywhere in the office."

"Not really, the office where I work isn't like this. Moreover, the studio is very small, let alone taking pictures, I just can't breathe," he concluded again.

"If you can't breathe, why are you still alive, Jun?"

Arjuna suddenly stopped, then he walked towards a small wardrobe in the corner of the room. I don't know what he was doing, because he wouldn't stop after so many minutes of stillness.

This made me wonder as I stared at the tattooed man's actions. An action that he did was, to bring something from the glass cabinet. However, I don't know what. Arriving Arjuna in front of my desk, he was staring at a small frame in his hand.

"This girl is also beautiful, is she your boyfriend?" asked Arjuna very innocently.

Seeing his attitude I raised my body while closing my eyes. Then I quickly grabbed the small framed photo and threw it in the trash.

"Oh, why did you throw it away?" asked Arjuna.

"You don't need to know about the photo, don't bring it up and forget about it."

"Well, I just wanted to ask. Hmmm ... sorry, I won't ask you anything else."

"It's already lunch time, won't you come with me?" I asked.

Arjuna took his camera and put it on his arm. Then without a word he moved out of my office.

"Where are you going, Jun? Hey!" With an unmoving position, you just pay attention to it.

Arjuna took and brought the cellphone that I had given him. However, his eyes looked very disgusted. The man's footsteps were very fast, he didn't pay any attention to my screams.

Feeling very strange, I followed him from behind. Arjuna exited through the fire escape, then I chased him through the elevator. A few minutes the elevator was running, the door opened and brought this netra to the man who was already in the doorway.

The soles of his feet were very fast in his step, it was like a gust of wind and left the company. Right at the end of the net, it was as if Arjuna was throwing something in a trash can close to the security guard post. Then he took his car and just drove away.

I, who didn't want to lose track, ran from behind, then stopped in a courtyard close to the gate. I have lost track of him, he left without warning and so fast.

"Damn it! What's wrong with that kid, really, really crazy. What did I do wrong?" I asked myself, then I hit the iron fence of the office gate.

Not long after, a man came from the right side, none other than the post guard carrying a green plastic bag. Right beside, the man in uniform like a policeman touched my shoulder.

"Boss," he called curtly.

Hearing those words I turned around, then I replied, "y-yes, what's wrong?"

"This is the man's thing earlier, he threw it in the trash." The office security guard handed it to me.

"Yes sir, thank you." After answering, the security guard left and returned to guard.

Carefully, I stared at the object in a plastic. A box complete with his cellphone, it seems that Arjuna is not playing around this time, he threw away the cellphone that I gave him earlier.

I don't know where it went wrong, because I never said anything hurtful. However, the rice had become mush, the feeling of guilt just grew and circled around my head. Because the yard of the gate was full of employees, I hurried away and returned to the cafeteria.

With an unsteady tread, I took the cellphone case and moved towards the cafeteria. Along the way, I couldn't stop thinking hard about weirdness, because a past photo with Renata made Arjuna furious.

'Why is Arjuna angry with the photo, does he know Renata? Or, because of what? That human is so strange, it makes me think.'

After having fun, I entered the canteen while sitting on the special chair for CEOs. Employees passing by seemed to pay attention to me, who silenced me without a word. A glance at the cellphone, but thoughts drifted away about Arjuna's action earlier.

Quickly, he took Renata's photo and attacked me with a barrage of questions. Due to the wrong answer, he immediately went with a camera in his arm. On arrival at the bottom, even the phone was thrown into the trash can.

Previously I always played flashbacks of events, the portraits of events there did not show that I was wrong. However, the reaction elicited so many questions. With a piece of paper proffered by Arjuna, I took it in my trouser pocket.

I stared intently at the note as he made the offer to make me his night assistant. I don't know what the tattooed boy wants, making various questions come to mind. A cell phone number was clearly displayed, a few digits and made myself to save it.

Then I reached into my pocket and took my cellphone, then saved the number to a contact with the name—ARJUNA. Then, the number is immediately connected to the Whatsapp and Telegram applications.

Due to the sudden curiosity, I opened the application and sent a short message with only the letter (P). The message was sent, but not seen at all. No matter what privacy settings he set, so the message looks like it doesn't have a blue tick.

I exhaled heavily several times, along with the fried potatoes that accompanied the lunch menu. Every second, minute, even hour. I watched the application hoping for a reply from Arjuna. Turns out nothing, that guy seems to really hate me now.

By late afternoon, I wanted to go inside and go back to work. Employees have long left and entered the office. Just me alone in the cafeteria, without anyone asking why and what's wrong.

Then I took the phone contacts and stepped out of the room again.

To be continued...
