- You are quite the popular one in the academy right now. answers Durand. Anyways, for the floors as you know or might not know, there are five floors and each floor is blocked by a barrier. The third ability protection is not only for the bookshelves it also protects each floor. The way to get past the barrier is simple, you don't even need permission. When you walk into the barrier, it will start pushing you back all you need is to endure the mental strain since it doesn't push you back physically but mentally.

- There has been an interesting rumor going around in the academy. Did you hear it, Yoann? asks Telnoir.
- Did you call me to come all the way here, to the Red dorm to talk to me about a rumor?
- Yes and by the way why are you answering my question with another question?
- I didn't even answer you. I asked you a question.
- I guess you are right. Well, answer me.
Yoann sighs and sits down on a chair.
- It better be worth my time. So? What is this rumor about?
- It's about one of your brothers.
- *Sighs* It's probably about Noah, isn't it?
- Good guess.
- What is the rumor?
- It seems like my little brother, Gancelot, took him as his master.
- What!? Did Noah accept it?
- I told you it was a rumor, didn't I? That also means that I don't know whether it's true or not. Seems like the teachers are trying to hide it from me. He says with a large smile.
- That's because everyone knows how crazy you are. If the rumors turn out to be true what do you intend to do? says Yoann with a serious expression waiting for Telnoir's answer.

" Noah took Gancelot as his student? Why? If he does that people will misunderstand his intentions, not that I know what they are."
[Flashback to the day before the dorm assignment. At the supper of the Arcadios family]
The whole family is eating.
- By the way, Noah are you nervous about the dorm assignment tomorrow? asks Yoann
- Not really, answers Noah while eating, I do not see a reason why I should be nervous.
- Geez, you are really confident. Well, you are right, with your ability, I also would be brimming with confidence. says Yoann who goes back to eating.
- Father?
- Yes, Noah?
- I just wanted to make sure of something, so do you mind if I ask you a question?
- Go ahead.
- You have no intention of making me your heir, right?
Everybody stops eating.
- Why do you ask?
- It bothers me, that's why I am asking. I need an answer.
- Do you want to become the next Duke?
- Never.
Everybody looks at him in shock.
- Oh! I guess you misunderstood. I am asking you because I do not plan nor do I want to become the next Duke. says Noah.
- Oh! I see... honestly I wasn't sure who to make the heir out of you two, Jynn and you. reply Luke.
- Wait a minute, says Jynn, Does that man I am gonna become the heir, the next Duke? Is that what you guys are saying right now? finishes Jynn with a smile.
- Seems like it. answers Luke
- Congrats, Lil bro. says Yoann with a smile.
Jynn lowers his head and starts trembling

" He really must be happy about this news. Now that I think of it, when he was a kid, he always wanted to follow in Father's footsteps."
- Brother congr...
- are you kidding me? whispers Jynn
- Did you say something, Lil bro?
Just as Noah was about to congratulate Jynn, he lifts his head and when he does it was pretty obvious to everybody present in the room that for Jynn it wasn't a piece of good news that he had received. His face is incredibly red, probably from anger, and the veins on his forehead look like they are about to burst at any moment.
- WhO sAId ThAT I waNTeD tO BecOmE tHe HeIR, hUH? Jynn says while clearly and with difficulty holding in his anger.

" Now that I think about it again, it was pretty funny." Yoann thought while laughing in his head. " It's not every day that Jynn completely shows his feelings."
Mana starts spreading within the empty class in which the two are discussing. Yoann gets pissed and also lets out his own mana.
- What do you think you are doing, Telnoir. says Yoann with a serious and terrifying tone and expression.
- I would like to ask you the same thing, Yoann. Do you find it funny? Is there something that I don't know? asks Telnoir with the same tone and expression.
The door of the class opens.
- WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU GUYS ARE DOING!? asks the person.
The person who opened the door walks in.
- We were just talking, Darius, weren't we Yoann? says Telnoir.
Yoann glares at him and leaves but before he does Darius stops him by grabbing his arm.
- This better not happen again. You guys' mana was leaking outside of this room. Especially you, Yoann you are a King's Sword. Don't forget that. says Darius while letting go of Yoann's arm
- My bad, Darius. It won't happen again. Jynn answers while leaving.
Darius turns around to look at Telnoir. Telnoir raises his shoulder acting as if he didn't understand why this situation happened and while he was doing that he was smiling. Darius sighs and also leaves. When he leaves Telnoir covers his mouth and coughs, he takes off his hand and stares at his palm that now has some blood the blood that he coughed.
- *Koff Koff* That bastard really is strong, damn it.
[Back at the library with Noah]

" What was that? I felt two mana clash. It was only for a bit but one of the mana's definitely belonged to my oldest brother, Yoann. Did something happen?"
- So, that is all you, students, needed to know about the academy's library. The briefing session is over and now I gotta close the library.
The students leave the library. Noah looks at his phone and it's already 16h30 pm.

Dinner is in an hour and thirty minutes I got some time to train but should I do it? While we were in the library I felt my Demonic Instinct act up."
- Master? Are you ok? It's ok if we skip one day of training you know. Even more, if you don't feel good.

" I swear this guy really is sharp."
- Yeah I don't feel too good but don't worry. For today let's just do some laps instead tomorrow I will teach you something nice.
- Waaa! REALLY! Crap I'm so pumped now! I don't know if I will be able to sleep!
Noah smiles and pats his head.

" I wonder. Is that how it feels to be an older brother?" he thought while looking at Gancelot.
Noah raises his head to look in front of him and what he sees makes his smile disappear and makes Gancelot who was quite happy put his guard up.
- Well, what happened to the mood? Don't tell me it was because you two saw me? says Telnoir while smirking. But now that I see the two of you, I guess the rumors really were true. Gancelot you made Noah Arcadios your master?
- ...
- Answer me? Telnoir asks while grabbing him by the collar.
- Just what is wrong with you brothers and grabbing people by their collars. says Noah while glaring at Telnoir.
- Are you talking to me, youngest Arcadios?
- Who else would I be talking to eldest Fayrak? answers Noah
Telnoir lets go of Gancelot, approaches Noah, and places one of his fingers in front of each of Noah's eyes.
- With those eyes? Are you glaring at me with those eyes. he asks Noah with a huge smile on his face. Makes me want to gouge them out.
- Was I glaring at you? You will have to forgive me since it simply is the way I look at everyone else. It seems like I naturally glare at people. says Noah while continuing to glare at Telnoir.

" I heard that the reason that the king still hasn't chosen Telnoir as the crown prince was because, even though he was strong and intelligent, he had some serious problems and now that I met him I can definitely tell. This guy is crazy."
