The next morning.
Meng Hui's phone rang and she picked it up without opening her eyes"Hello is this Meng Hui."A male voice asked her"Yes."She replied groggily"I'm Li Jie from Starlight Entertainment,congratulations you got the job see you at ten o'clock in the office."The phone then cut and she got up then ran to her friends room to tell her the good news"Xixian I got the job."She said barging inside the room"You scared me."Xixian said holding her heart"Don't worry your heart won't come out.I got the job."Meng Hui jumped onto her bed"I don't get it."Xixian looked at her"What do you get Xixi(Xixi is Xixian's nickname)?"Meng Hui asked confused"Sweetheart you are the owner of a multi billion company yet you are happy getting an assistant job? Seriously?"Xixian asked her left eyebrow rising"Xixi I want to be a happy and free person not being locked up in an office."Xixian just looked at her and didn't continue the conversation any further"Then congratulations let's find you something to wear."Xixian jumped dragging Meng Hui to her room"No Xixi I am not wearing a dress or a skirt or in total something I don't want."Meng Hui objected once they reached her closet"You never wear like a girl no matter how much I try to convince you."Xixian complained"Yes I prefer wearing what I am comfortable with."Meng Hui went to her closet and took a white t shirt,blue baggy jeans and a blue boyfriend coat then looked at the sulking girl on her bed"Xixi don't be mad ."Meng Hui tried to coax the angry girl who just crossed her arms and looked away"Don't."She looked at her with puppy eyes"Fine hurry up or you will be late on your first day"Right."Meng Hui ran to the bathroom and took a quick shower then dressed and ran out"What about your breakfast?"Xixian shouted"I don't have time for breakfast I am late.I will find something to eat on the way."Meng Hui took her keys and ran out.She turned on her motorcycle and rode to the company.She reached and removed her helmet then took her keys and ran inside the company heading to Li Jie's office
"Meng Hui is here."One of the employees told her friend and later news spread across the company each eagerly waiting to see her.
Meng Hui knocked and was welcomed by a cheery voice"Meng Hui you are here,I am Li Jie Lu Xiao's assistant"Li Jie stood up and greeted her"Welcome and sit down."They both sat down as Li Jie removed two contracts from his desk and opened it placing it in front of her"Sign here."Meng Hui took the pen and signed both the contracts"Here is yours and this one is mine."He handed her the contract"From today you are Lu Xiao's assistant and you must fulfill all your duties accordingly don't disappoint us."Li Jie said seriously then the serious expression disappeared and was replaced by his normal cheery face"Let's work together to make our idol better than he is."They shook hands then Li Jie offered to show her to her desk"You will be sitting here may you enjoy you stay."The other employees welcomed her warmly"I will leave her to you take care of her."They all nodded and resumed their works"Hi I'm Tong Jin"The girl next to her said smiling "Meng Hui."Nice to have you here."Meng Hui just smiled at her"You can do this."She prayed for the best and started her work.She focused on her work and didn't notice that time had gone so much and it was lunch time"Meng Hui let's go for lunch."Tong Jin tapped on her desk"It's already lunch?I did not realize."She said closing her file"I get you.I also concentrated so much on the first day but look at me right now I slack off so much."Tong Jin laughed remembering her dead determination.They went to the cafeteria and took their food then sat at a table in the corner"Take a bite and tell me how our company food tastes like."Tong Jin looked at her.Meng Hui took a bite and closed her eyes as her taste buds rejoiced"This is so good."I knew you would like it."They continued eating then went back to work till evening.As she was almost leaving a message popped in her phone"Meet me in my office before you leave."She saw that it was from Li Jie and packed up hurriedly"See you tomorrow Meng Hui."Tong Jin and some other girls bade her goodbye"See you."She said as she went to Li Jie's office.Upon reaching she knocked and got in then sat down"Tomorrow you will be introduced to Lu Xiao don't be late."She only nodded"See you tomorrow."Bye bye."She got out and went to her desk taking her bag,helmet and keys then headed out.She looked at the setting sun and rode home.

"Welcome assistant Meng Hui are you hungry?"Xixian asked the moment Meng Hui got in"I'm starving."They went to the dinning area and started eating"Guess what sweetheart?"Xixian looked at her"What?"Meng Hui asked her mouth full"Chen Liao is pregnant."Immediately Meng Hui stopped eating"Looks like Gu Jiaxin played his role"Meng Hui smirked making Xixian laugh"I wonder how Min min will react."Meng Hui looked at the blushing girl beside her"Don't make fun of me."Xixian continued eating ignoring the laughing girl besides"I'll stop teasing you."They finished eating and then did the dishes"How was your first day at work?Did you meet Lu Xiao?"Xixian asked her excitedly "First no I didn't meet Lu Xiao and my day was great."She answered turning on the television "But you will meet him?"Xixian looked at the television which had different drama's displayed"Tomorrow I"Really?You will meet my idol before me I am so jealous."Xixian interrupted her"Let's just look for something to watch."She looked and then one piqued her interest"What about this one?"Meng Hui looked at Xixian waiting for a reply"Hit the top."Let's watch it.Meng Hui pressed play and it began and after a while she screamt as she saw one of her other idol's making Xixian laugh at her.
