Tomorrow had quickly come, today is the day Vora learns on how to properly wield a lightsaber and becoming one step closer to becoming a true Jedi.
Her parents proudly would wave bye to her for the day as Vora walked away beside Grom heading to the training room. Vora had looked back at them blankly before looking straight ahead. She seemed nervous. But that was normal for all young Padawans.
Once alone in the room with Jedi Knight Grom, he crouched down to get eye level with the young pale girl, pulling out an inactive lightsaber from his robe and puts it into Vora's palm before gently closing her palm. He just grinned and says "This is yours now. Treat it with dignity and respect. That is our way okay?"
Vora nodded in agreement before shyly looking down at the lightsaber that's in her hand. Grom stood up and took a step back before saying "Now c'mon. Don't be shy. Activate it."
The Padawan nodded saying "Okay.." before pressing the button on the lightsaber, causing a purple hued laser of light to appear on it. Shocked for a second, she stood there in amazement, stuck looking at it. Grom would chuckle and say "It's okay.. Don't be worried. It won't hurt you. It will protect you in years to come. That's all it's for. Here.. I'll show how to use it."
Grom pulled out his own light saber, activating it in front of the little girl and gets right beside her, slowly showing her how to properly slash and pierce with the lightsaber. He would continue teach Vora the basics of saber wielding for hours on end.
At the end of the day, a temple worker enters the room and patiently waits for Vora at the opened door entrance since her training session for today was finally over. Grom kindly grabs her shoulder before she leaves the room, looking into the Padawan's eyes and remarks "I could the sense the force is strong in you little one.. Whether it's for good or for evil, that choice will be up to you though. You will know your path when the time comes. I'm sure of it." He then allows Vora to leave the room with the temple worker who was hired to escort the Padawans around the Jedi Temple.
When Vora returned to her home, she could be seen sitting down on her comfortable bed, looking at her inactive lightsaber once more in deep thought. It was clearly obvious the little girl was confused on what kind of life she wanted for herself.
A moment later you could hear a little boy named Cole yelling out Vora's name, coming from the front door of her house. Rey appeared from the kitchen and greeted the boy, smiling and says "Vora. Your friend is here for you. Why don't you both go outside and play?"
Vora showed up out of her room and walked outside with the young boy, the two talked about things like who has a better saber. They eventually stop in their tracks when a group of other kids picked on Cole for having a strange looking ear.
She had enough of the bullying, standing in front of him and sternly says "You leave us alone." with a serious expression on her face.
