After the happening in the dungeon the noble families that were part of the attackers had to pay a lot of gold coins to all the parties that suffered. Only the noble family that was the hegemon of the city did not suffer because there were no members of the family that were found. It was a great scandal and a huge hit for the noble families that lost collectively 3 knights and 15 apprentice knights. After that the noble families that like to backstab its opponents lied low and did not do anything stupid. The authorities were keeping an eye on them, and they knew that they are in deep shit.
The Shmidts also kept a very low profile. Leo forbode anyone of them to exit the city. Leo did build a few simple hotels, and the family members kept those places safe and managed them. Elly was training really hard in terms of real fighting with knight apprentice and Leo every day. Leo also sent her to the butcher to cut down different types of meat. For now it was the closest things he thought that could imitate cutting down a beast. Leo was the only family member that was really harsh with her. It did start after her big fuck up when they almost died in an ambush. All the rest of the family praised and pampered her as the only girl in the family.
She felt a little bad when he was so harsh toward her, but after some time she started to look at Leo in a different light. He was harsh and put her in an uncomfortable situation. She was out of her comfort zone all the time. It was a lot of stress to her, but she grew as a person, mage and a warrior quickly.
Leo was also not slacking off. The sneak attack was pretty dangerous, and he understood that with a little more preparation maybe they all could die. He did not want this to end. He had the power and potential to achive great things and it could all end just like that. He could not accept it. He also doubled down on training. He wanted to get to the six appretice circle level when they will enter the academy. When he had more power he felt just more safe. As for Elly. His goal was for her getting to the second circle of mage apprentice. It was harder and harder to gather magic elements the stronger you become. Leo still did not really felt it, but it was very clear from Elly's progress that it was a problem for many appretices.
After around a year of hard training the two brothers and Elen were promoted by another level. The two brothers got to the second knight circle and the Elen finally was promoted to the forth. It happened because they had huge amount of resources and they basicly ate and drank alchemical products in huge amounts.
After this promotion all the family together started to go to dangeons in secret. No one knew about it. Leo made Elly disect all the corpses of the monsters. First she was doing that while puking her guts out and even why Elen and the brothers were complaining about that Leo was resolute on her doing all the dirty work. After around two months of such training Elly got immune to the stench of everything basicly.
Also Leo put her under pressure to support and heal her family members. She did not know any spells other than heal, but with water manipulation she could create a shield or just use water to make a bubble on the head of the monsters until they choke to death. Leo felt that she got some kind of battle ability and utility only after around a year of training.
Even when she got better things did not end there. Leo did said a couple of good words towards her, but still kept her under pressure. Because they were both mages they meditated and used the breathing technique to train while the others were taking care of the familty hotel buisness.
Elly got a lot more respect towards Leo during that time. He was harsh, but fair. He made her grow as a person, and she knew that it was impossible for her to improve in such a way with her father and two brothers around. Only Leo had the ability and the authority to disregard their grumbling and do what was needed. They spent a lot of time together. Because Leo was the only male that was not a brother that was always around her she started to do some testing of her female charm on him. She was beautiful and was three years older than him. After two years of training she was already 16. The more time went by the more mature she became. In this world people became adults at the age of 13. Many nobles started to have sexual relationships at those ages. Specially the men.
Elly started to get a lot more comfortable around Leo and wear more and more revealing clothes while he was around. She did not dress like that around her father or brothers because she will get scolded for such behaviour for sure.
She would also sneak to his room at night to speak about different stuff. While using the breathing technique and meditation you could not talk about anything much. You needed to concentrate. Thats why she came over after a day of training. She did try stuff during the day, but Leo shut her off. Her dressing did hinder him a little bit because she was attractive and he started to think about the wrong things when he looked at her. He did need to train during the day so he did try to ignore her which only made her want to talk to him more.
Leo was not sure what she tried to achieve, but he was a young adult according to this world standards at the age of 13 and had a lot of hormones coursing through his body. At one of the nights, she broke another record and came over with just an underwear and a shirt that was pretty tight on her body. Because she did start to mature Leo could see her breasts very well under the T-shirt. When she got close to him and started to speak about different stuff, she saw that he reacted to her in a totally different way from what she was used to. He had an erection he could not hide from her. When Leo saw this, he looked at her with a strange expression and asked with a straight face: "What did you expect to happen while dressing like this?"
