Lance stood in front of the large library room, dusty and obviously old.
Henry climbed the stairs and pushed open the double-glazed, mirrored door.
With a soft "squeak," the door was opened.
They were drawn to an abandoned but relatively clean library. The room, unlike the outside, wasn't totally covered in dust and leaves.
The chandeliers in this room were more brilliant than those in the main hall.
Book shelves in the corners, a simple yet luxurious green sofa in the center, and one unattended cup on the wooden table
Henry was clearly a brave individual; he walked in first and looked around curiously.
Maisy carefully followed behind him, making sure to hold his hand.
"There seems to be nothing; even these books aren't in English." Disappointed, Maisy said as she turned around.
"Hey, what's this?" Joanna noticed something move slightly.
Before Joanna saw it clearly, Lance stopped her from going forward.
They all turned their heads and looked at him at the same time.
Lance simply smiled at them and said, "Be careful; this place is infested with insects."
"Kyle is right; you girls should stay back," Henry agreed, as if suddenly on the same side.
Joanna complained: "Shut up, Henry! You don't need to speak; I clearly hear Kyle!"
Maisy pursed her lips as well while softly grinning as she looked at the two of them.
Lance had already gotten to the shelves and was rummaging through them when a few people began to joke.
With the exception of one book, "Curse of La Ra Rose," which was free of dust, nothing on the shelves had been touched.
However, the pages had a distinctly foul smell and had slightly turned red.
This is the only book in this library that is in English, which is unusual for a mansion of this age.
As if on cue, a red panel had formed in front of his eyes.

Lance nodded his head as he thought. It appeared that "TML" was a complex system that contained information about all the equipment in these alien worlds as well as some sort of currency.
Lance had high hopes despite being aware of the significant danger he would encounter.
Lance was already aware of his predicament. Now all he had to do was finish the mission in a week.
He made the decision to concentrate on finishing the mission because he did not want to know what would happen if he failed it.
After carefully opening the book, all that was inside was a collection of dried, rotten roses, each bearing a symbol similar to ۞.
Every page in the book also included the year, which ranged from 1979 to 2006.
Lance had guessed this was 2007 based on his memory. Something will probably occur this year as well.
Maisy came over and asked, "Kyle, what are you looking at?"
"It's an old book," Lance replied.
Maisy was intrigued and about to touch the book when Joanna appeared beside her with a lowered voice and asked, "Do you know this place is haunted?"
Since Maisy was the person in the room who appeared to be the most terrified, Joanna only fixed her gaze on her.
Maisy sneered, "Isn't it because it's been abandoned for too long? I'm scared, not stupid!"
"Once upon a time, there lived a beautiful vampire in this mansion lonely and alone..until she met her true love, a hunter from the mainland..they fell in love but because the hunter was human, he died soon enough, leaving the immortal vampire lonely and alone again.." Joanna shook her head seriously. Now she waits...and waits...for humans to pass by so she can harvest their souls in order to resurrect her deceased lover."
Maisy was not afraid and said, "What vampires!" Isn't that all stories?"
Lance took a quick look at the two of them. This time, Joanna's words might be a hint; after all, all stories have some element of truth.
"Let's go to the first floor."
Lance broke up their conversation by saying, "Henry has already left, we should go too."
In his original memory, the murders on the first floor were about to be carried out at this moment, but it has now been about fifteen minutes since they entered.
The more quickly he completed this task, the better his chances of surviving.
While the few present were still a little disoriented, Lance made the first exit, followed quickly by Maisy.
In a blink of an eye, Joanna was the only one left in the library. Looking at the empty room, Joanna shuddered again and hurried out.
"Ahhh———"
Screams rang out throughout the entire mansion, and then footsteps in all directions could be heard above Lance's head.
The killing starts.
Maisy raised her head, looking up at the ceiling, puzzled: "What's wrong?"
Lance was at ease because, in his memory, Kyle was the first victim, and if the killer had decided to target Kyl again, there was nothing Lance could do.
The less he knows, the more passive he is in front of the killers.
He won't have a chance to escape until he has more information in hand.
Joanna and Henry also heard the voice from above as soon as Henry returned: "Something seems to have happened, we should check it out."
As if on cue, a group of people also came from the opposite corridor.
The young man who attempted to push open the main hall door was leading them, and the other three individuals were likely his traveling companions.
