Chereads / The Omega's Sensual Mate / Chapter 10 - A Stranger Knocking On Her Door.

Chapter 10 - A Stranger Knocking On Her Door.

There was a moment of confusion between the two.

Julia went dumb for a few seconds and so was Troy.

"This is not over yet, Julia!" said Troy.

He turned around to walk away from her but then something began to happen.

Troy started having a vision of his mate, although it was not revealed to him who it was.

He stood and stared at the sky for as long as he could.

The moon goddess must have done that to him on purpose.

Perhaps, the moon goodness was trying to warn her off from the Omega. Either that or there could be more.

"Why are you standing like an old fool?" began Julia.

She was still mad with Troy no wonder her unkind words.

"Why are you still standing, you coward? I thought you were about to leave?"

All her annoying words were meant to provoke Troy into leaving the scene as soon as possible.

Nevertheless, Troy never moved an inch, he was still having his vision from the moon Goddess.

"What shall I do, great one?" he asked the moon Goddess.

There was no response whatsoever from the moon goddess. Instead, his vision ceased.

There was nothing he could see any longer.

He turned around to face Julia again but Julia was nowhere to be found.

She was long gone. Yes, Julia left immediately after taunting him.

The strangeness of Troy's behaviour could have forced Julia into leaving the scene as soon as possible.

She was unsure of how Troy would react when he turns around.

Somewhere in the street, Julia was hurrying back home.

She was wary of Troy.

She never stopped looking back to see if Troy was on her trail.

So far, nobody was on her trail, she was on her own.

She thought that maybe dismissing Carl was a bad idea.

She wouldn't have been humiliated tonight if Carl was still with her when she encountered Troy.

Nevertheless, she tried as much as possible to brush off their thoughts and continued walking in the direction of her apartment.

Not long afterwards, she arrived at No. 22 Victoria district where her apartment was located.

She eased a sigh of relief once she was within the building complex.

She went in through the elevator.

She switched on her lights upon entering her apartment.

She went straight to the restroom and did a nature-call.

She was about to leave when she spotted her image in the mirror in the restroom.

She paused instantly and stared at her image who formed across the relatively large mirror.

All she saw was herself.

"You are strong, baby girl! You got this!

I know you will pull through!" she told herself.

Maybe Julia was referring to what had transpired earlier on.

For her, talking to herself in such a manner was a way of staying positive despite all she was facing.

"You can do this!"

She told herself one more time before heading into her bedroom.

She sat on her bed and began thinking.

Such a thoughtful moment usually happens at a rare time like this.

She never stopped thinking about her mate.

But, where was her mate?

As long as she was concerned she was yet to meet him.

She believed her mate was not among the Alphas trying to woo her to their side.

For her, the moon goddess was yet to provide her with a clear sign that help her select her mate.

When the time comes for her, she will discover who he was.

Although she was not optimistic about the three Alphas in her cue, a part of her was beginning to fall for Carl.

But, she was yet to admit it.

Maybe she was proud or something else was stopping her from admitting her secret admiration for Carl.

Whatever it was, she doesn't seem to care.

The moon goddess will give her clear signs when she finally meets her mate.

So far, there has never been any sign to show that Carl was her one true mate.

As for the two other Alphas, she doesn't give a crap about them.

As long as she was concerned, her mate will never come from among the two.

She was still sitting on her bed when a loud bang was heard on her door.

She panicked because she had no idea who was knocking on her door.

She wondered if it was Alpha Troy.

Come to think of it, Alpha Troy had no idea of her residential address unless, of course, he did some findings.

Troy was good at that nevertheless, she was not gonna allow her mere assumption to become the order of the day.

She stood to her feet and was heading towards the door to see who it was.

Julia was not her usual self.

She was in a panic state.

She could not concentrate on what to do.

She knows quite alright that two things could happen when she opens the door. Either her visitor was a friend or any of those Alpha she has dismissed already.

Worst still, what if the visitor banging on her door, after ringing the doorbell multiple time, was someone from the hospital?

What if he or she has been sent to find out what happened to their patient who left without informing anyone?

As if she was not done with her negative thoughts, another one came to her mind.

What if it was Alpha Ivan?

She really doesn't wanna think of him because that would be more problematic than the other two Alphas.

She looked through a tiny hole when she got closer to the door.

The hole itself was designed to spy on any visitor about to enter her apartment.

It was her not any people she thought about.

It was not Carl, Ivan and Troy.

Rather, it was someone that meant the whole world to her.

Yes, with her parents gone, her adopted parents gone too, her pack destroyed, the visitor standing outside her door, was the closest thing she got left.

She quickly plugged in the key and turned the door open
