I wake up in a cold sweat, I'm alive but how? I put my hands on my neck and look at them there's no blood.
I look around and I soon notice that I'm not in my room. The bed I'm in isn't mine it's way too big. Was I kidnapped by the people in my house? But what I remember doesn't add up. I get off the bed and look around. The room definitely wasn't one that was in my house. I noticed a window and I move over to it so I can pear outside.
I passed by a mirror and jumped back in shock. In the mirror was a woman with red hair and red eyes. I jumped back in shock at my appearance.
Infact this woman looked exactly like Veronica Henderson from Mischievous Nobles.
That doesn't make sense.
How can I be inside a novel I just read.I remember clearly that I died. I run my hands through the silky red hair. It's real enough and so is this entire room.
This can't be possible I'm I really in Mischievous Nobles.
If I am then I'm in danger, screw that I'm in deep trouble!
I kicked at a piece of furniture that set a vase crashing to the ground. Ugh? why does something like this have to happen to me. What will become of my parents when they learn of my death? How will my friends react? How will they fair without me?
My thoughts are interrupted by a knock on the door. I didn't even notice the door in the room. I try to speak but no words are coming out of my throat.
"My lady are you alright we heard some noise and wanted to know if you are in trouble"
I still can't speak what should I do?
"My lady! Are you alright?"
Gathering up my strength I finally utter a response
"I'm fine nothing is wrong"
"Um.. Okay if you are in need of anything please call on me my lady"
"If I may ask what is your name?"
"I am Anna your personal maid my lady"
I remember now Veronica's right hand woman. The one with her through out her childhood.
"I'm fine I'll call for you"
This is the world of Mischievous Nobles and I'm the villainess Veronica Henderson. This game has three main arcs that drive its plot. And seven minor arcs that I consider as complete rubbish and absolute filler. Walking towards the door I gentle push it open. A young maid with brown hair and blue eyes looks in my direction.
"My...M..y...My La...Lady ho...w can....I. be o..of.ser..vice to.oo.you"
She gives a small curtsey before me She's stammering so much I can't even tell if it's English she's speaking.
"Fetch me some paper and writing materials be quick about it" I ordered her.
"Ye...Yes M..y...Lady" she responded timidly.
She rushes out and heads into another room and emerges with paper and an ink pen.
I thank her and slam the door shut behind me. I head over to the dresser that is in the corner of the room and i take a sit.
Looking at myself in the mirror I still can't believe this is actually me. I run my fingers through the soft silky red hair that flies below my waist. It's so long I could give Rapunzel a run for her money. I've been given a second chance at life and I certainly won't let it end with me being banished.
There are three major events that Veronica closer to her death. The Hunting Competition arc where Charlotte will awaken her mana and gets the ability to summon spirits thereby threatening Veronica's position as a top mage.
The Engagement ring arc which takes place after Veronica's engagement to the crown prince is dissolved. This event will lead to all active members of the imperial palace turning on Veronica.
And finally the assassination guild arc, stuck between a rock and a hard place Veronica gets involved with the leader of an assassination guild with plans to kill Charlotte, but it all backfires when the crown prince is targeted and the mission fails.
The plot revolves around the heroine Charlotte who is the daughter of a fallen Marquis and serves at the imperial palace. She meets the crown prince and he falls in love with her on first sight.
After that he then attempts to call off the engagement between them but Veronica opposes each time. Their marriage has been planned out from their childhood having the backing of the King. Erick, Keith, Alexander and Jake meet her at different events and they both fall for her. And they all hate Veronica, My chances of survival are pretty slim and I don't know what will happen if I go against the actual story.
