Chapter 1 - New Beginning, Broken Memory

Clocking out of his shift, M!#@% dreads his next shift and awaits the throne that is his bed. Powering through a migraine the rest of the night is a series of flashes, bouts of intense pain, despair, and anger flood M!#@% as his conscious slowly fades with " God.....damn....it...at least.....I'm...right"

Awoken with a face full of dirt and weeds, confusion clouding his mind a short yet simple sentence is his first words of this new life "where the fuck and who the fuck am I?!?"

Pushing himself off the floor noticing a few key details. First, he felt like chains where binding feeling resistance against his every move. Second, all that surrounded him was a common suburban neighborhood.

'What the fuck? I feel like I haven't stretched my entire life!' though he tried to speak he only a growl was heard. Looking for the source of the disturbing sound realization soon dawn on him, With great effort, bringing his hands before him all he saw was a pair of rotting hands each missing a finger or two.

'With all those stupid stories of zombies and creatures, Why was I turned into one! If this like those dumbass novels then something is with me, STATUS!'

Like expected a screen appeared before him showing a rundown of his situation.

'Honestly wasn't expecting that to work, but I'll take it. Hey! Why is my luck blank! whatever nothing is apparent here no cheat or anything of the like. Fuck, ok looks like I'm relying on myself from here on out'

With quick burst of self-motivation our zombie begins to pick himself up and look for any creature hoping to find a way to level up. The search didn't take long either, after looking for roughly half an hour, only covering a block and a half of distance the short comings of being an undead was quickly becoming apparent. There aimlessly walking another zombie crosses paths stopping just short of running into each other.

'Fuck! That scared the crap out of me' Slowly getting ready to defend himself as best as he can only to realize the zombie just standing there. 'God looking up close makes them look even more terrifying'. After what felt like forever new foe(?) slowly walks away looking for food. 'whelp, he goes' With that his grip is formed on the enemy's neck and with a tug.

*pop* *crack*

A few sounds occur, with one of his fingers dislocating fear and panic quickly occupy our heroes(?) mind. 'Fuck oh no oh no.... wait, I'm dead. At least I learned I don't feel pain'

Looking up towards the foe he's shocked to find the zombie only the floor motionless except for the undulations of the jaw seemingly trying to take a bit out of something. No loud screech or growl is let loose, much to our heroes surprise and glee, just low grunts are made by the zombie.

'Well, that was kinda easy. Do I just ... stomp on it?' with a slow raise of the foot and a swift plummet the sound of a skull breaking is made the quickly echoes through the area.
