Chapter 1 - Chaos Academy

Two individuals gracefully traversed a trail lined with rows of plum blossom trees, their delicate petals descending like nature's confetti. The woman, adorned with flowing ebony locks that danced in the breeze, possessed an ethereal beauty. Her full, pink lips and smooth, alabaster skin framed a figure that embodied grace and allure.

A woman with long black hair that flowed back into the wind and full pink lips, along with smooth white skin and a beautiful figure – a woman who was the manifestation of beauty – spoke with worry and sadness.

"Are you leaving?"

"Are you leaving?" she inquired, her head resting on the boy's shoulder. As he paused his movements, his bright blue eyes engaged with hers in a silent exchange.

"What are you doing?"

She sighed and removed her head from his shoulder. "You never let me or anyone else ever touch you, but if you wanted to make contact with one of us, you could, and that's the only time someone, at least from my knowledge, has ever felt your touch."

Some would be confused by her statement; she placed her head on his shoulder once again, but if someone were to look closely, her head stopped centimeters away from his shoulder.

"Addison, if I did let you touch me, the whole world would blow up." He used his hands to imitate an explosion.

She had a shocked expression; she knew her boss was powerful, but she didn't know that just contact with him would destroy the world.

He chuckled at her expression and placed his hand on her head.

"I'm just kidding."

She punched his arm, but it stopped again just centimeters away.

He rubbed his arm with a sad expression, "Ow, that hurt."

She stared at him blankly.

"I'm going to take a train to the academy. You know what to do while I'm away."

She sighed, "Yeah, Yeah, I know."

He smiled and continued to walk down the blossom trail but this time all alone.

She waited until he was at a distance and then she spoke into the shadows, "You can come out now."

A man with a black beard and hair stepped out from the shadows, surrounded by dark blue energy. An eye patch covered his left eye, and a scar marked his right, running from the bottom of his face to the top.

Do you think he'll be alright?" he asked, a mix of concern and curiosity in his scarred gaze.

She laughed at his words. "Did you just hear yourself? In all the fights I've ever seen him in, I have never seen him get touched. And after every battle, he didn't have a single scratch or dirt on him."

The man chuckled, "That's true. Do you think we'd win in a fight against him?"

Amused, she replied, "Considering his flawless record in battles, there's little reason to doubt. In his current state, we might endure some damage, but at full strength, we wouldn't stand a chance."

At the train station, Kayden, a man of striking appearance with Snow White hair and vibrant blue eyes, sat on a glass bench. A holographic screen displayed destination options.

{J&A Speed Station}

[Speed Train To Northern District]

[Speed Train To Southern District]

[Speed Train To Eastern District]

[Speed Train To Western District]

He clicked the option to take the train to the northern district where the academy was located.

"Heading to the Northern District I see." An orange-haired boy with orange eyes said to Kayden.

Kayden looked at the boy and looked back at the screen.

[Train Arrives In 5 Minutes]

How could you completely ignore me?" the boy teased, pretending to be hurt.

"My name is John," he introduced himself, extending his hand to Kayden, who ignored him.

"Oh man, this moment is giving me flashbacks from that time I tried hitting on a girl just to be completely ignored."

Kayden let out a small laugh but covered it up quickly. John looked at Kayden and shrugged his shoulders when he heard his laugh.

"You can laugh; I laugh every time I think about it." John examined Kayden even more and noticed something.

"You got some good looks." John nodded while looking at Kayden.

"Also don't get the wrong idea, I said good looks but I don't swing that way, not that I would have any problem if you did swing that way, but I'm just saying…I don't." John chuckled nervously, thinking he should've just stayed quiet.

— The Speed Train To The Northern District Has Arrived.

A robotic voice echoed through the station.

Kayden got up off the bench and went into the train, and to his surprise, John also entered the train.

John saw Kayden's suspicious look but cleared up the misunderstanding. "Don't worry, I'm not following you. I'm heading to the Chaos Academy." John said proudly.

Kayden let out a long sigh. Now that he knew they were both heading to the same destination, the train ride he thought would be peaceful is now going to be a long and annoying one.

— You Have Arrived In The Northern District.

Kayden got off the train, and following behind him was John who was telling him the story of his life.

"Yeah, that's all to my boring life."

Kayden looked at John and tried remembering what he said his ability was. "Hey. What was your ability again?"

John smiled, "you finally talked, anyways, it was water manipulation, and I know it sounds lame, but the things I could do with it would surprise you."

"What's your ability?"

Kayden looked at John and wondered whether or not he should tell him, "It's psychokinesis."

John's eyes widdened in shock; psychokinesis was a rare ability after all.

Kayden stopped talking and started making his way to the Academy when John ran up next to him.

"I'm also heading in this direction, what a coincidence."

Arriving in front of huge gates and invisible barriers protecting the academy, they both saw someone walking towards them in the distance.

"You two must be the kids from the recommendation letter."
