After closing the door, Robin leaned her back. Now she was alone as she tried to calm herself down.
"What an unexpected day..." Robin whispered softly with her head bowed.
As usual, she thought today was the same as all the other days she had lived through. Being chased and running away... but she never thought she would meet and get saved by Vermillion.
'Even though you know that I often betray, you are still willing to accept me. Is it because I can translate historical texts? Is it because you want the same ancient weapon that Crocodile wants? Or just interested in historical texts?'
'Or is it because you really want me to be your partner?' Thinking about this, Robin couldn't stop asking herself. But soon, she shook her head.
'For now I'll just stay on this ship, as for Crocodile... hopefully he won't get mad at me.' Imagining Crocodile's angry face, Robin started to smile a little. She had indeed promised Crocodile, but now she had joined Drake's Pirate group.
'Although he's angry, but he shouldn't dare to chase after the Drake Pirates, right?'
Instead of working for Crocodile, Robin would rather stay with Vermillion. At least this group of pirates seemed friendlier.
"Besides, with my small Bounty, I don't think they'll be too keen on betraying me and handing me over to the World Government." Robin smiled. For the first time, she felt that her Bounty was no longer a burden. After all, the Drake Pirates' total Bounty had already reached billions.
'Hmm... Vermillion seems to be very interested in Devil Fruit, it seems I should gather some information on the whereabouts of other Devil Fruits. At least this will be able to improve my status on this ship.'
Having finished making plans, Robin stood up and looked around the room. Her room wasn't very big, but it was filled with beautiful furnishings that were a feast for the eyes.
While sweeping her room, Robin's eyes fell on a stack of books on the table. Walking closer, Robin found a note next to the book stack.
Sitting at the reading table, Robin picked up the note and read it.
[There are only a few books on this ship; I've collected a few that might interest you.
The first book was one that I wrote personally. It was about a story I had heard from Scheherazade; the title was; 1001 Nights.
The book is still unfinished... but if you're interested, I can continue it for you.
Meet Emiya, Dio Brando, or Scheherazade if you need another book. You can borrow their books; just tell them you have my permission.
By the way, Dio Brando likes to put people down, and his words are not pleasing either. So don't think too much about it.
Enjoy your reading time, and I hope you enjoy your stay on our ship.
Vermillion.]
Reading this note, for some reason, she wanted to smile; her heart also became calmer. Gently, Robin placed the note on the table.
But before long, Robin frowned slightly. Once again, she took the note and put it inside her personal clothes.
After that, Robin picked up a book titled; 1001 Nights which had been written by Vermillion personally. It wasn't long before Robin was immersed in the fascinating story.

After escorting Robin to her room, Vermillion decided to visit Drake's room.
When he arrived, he found that Drake still had yet to return to her room. Vermillion decided to sit on Drake's bed while waiting for her arrival.
"Hmm, this woman never changes." Looking at the several bottles of wine neatly arranged in the room, Vermillion could only smile a little.

Shortly after, Drake returned to her room with a bottle of wine. Looking at Vermillion lying on her bed, Drake held back a happy smile.
'Are you asleep, Vermillion?' Drake whispered softly.
Walking to the bedside, Drake stroked her Master's face with flushed cheeks.
'You seem to be tired, good night.' Drake said softly. Taking off her clothes, Drake took the blanket and lay beside her Master.
