Chapter 11 - Volume 1. Chapter 9.

After the skeleton and I rolled the corpses, I sat down on the steps leading to the exit.

And despite the disgusting smell, it still occurred to me to examine our condition with a partner.

The transformation seemed to be bubbling from within, while a dark, viscous liquid oozed from the wound that appeared on the brush.

Hoping for almost nothing, I tried to focus this feeling on the site of the damage, hoping that something would happen. And I was right. The pitch-black liquid stopped flowing out and froze in place of the wound, solidifying before our eyes and making a new protective layer.

With interest, I transferred the feeling to the tips of my fingers, which slowly began to resemble vertical blades more and more.

Okay, it's time to take care of the skeleton. The black substance seemed to be absorbed, bringing out the "real" hand, and showing clothes that before seemed to be incredibly tightly stuck to my hand, in fact becoming part of it.

My gaze dropped to the skeleton. There were several knife scratches on his white bones.

"Necro-restoration"

And now, after a few seconds, he is absolutely whole.

Having dispersed my gaze, I examined him in general.

The skeleton itself was about as tall as me.

I looked at him again, he looks like an ordinary skeleton, but during the call itself. His bones themselves have a purple hue, but there are white stripes all over his body that seem to dig into him, the very level of the stripes is below the level of the bones.

At the edges of each strip or fold, the purple color thickened, becoming similar to the color of fuchsias that I once grew on the windowsill, but it remains only to wait as the purple color fades, the irregularities are smoothed out, and his bones themselves acquire the most ordinary appearance. And it looks like he didn't break them often. He had only two scars from the fracture on his body: on the middle finger and on the leg near the ankle. It was as if he had experienced a major breach during his lifetime. Although he stands almost straight, you can tell by the look of it that one of his legs is slightly shorter than the other…

Someone has problems with legs…

But it doesn't matter anymore.

The important thing is that the skeleton still emits a pale, almost imperceptible flicker.

And exactly by a learned reflex, he handed him a scabbard on his belt with a dagger inserted.

He looked at them, then at me, and then tilted his head in a questioning, incredulous gesture.

Have you gotten smarter? Okay, that's probably okay.…

- Put this on…

And…

He doesn't work out, well, what I thought, he's a knuckle, a belt on him, while without clothes, does not hold. But if everything succeeds, I'll probably buy him a kind of armor.

- I have an idea.

The removed belts were of different sizes, so I took the belt of the healthiest and made a hole in it at the very end. Then I attached the scabbard to it and connected it.

As a result, I put this device on the skeleton.

- It will be a quiver!

He took hold of his belt and looked at me.

- "Cancellation of the draft"

After waiting for some time, I put out my hands and pronounced the cherished spell.

- "Summoning"

And he returned with the same "quiver" with which he disappeared.

He looked first at him, then at me.

Yes, my friend who has suddenly become a little smarter, now you will not run like an idiot without armor.

Well, now it's time to get back to town.
