Selena's POV
"What made you think a girl like you could change my decision and bend some rules for Skyler?" He asked while his eyes were sizing me up.
"For starters, the video you were watching was enough to convince me you now regret not calling Skyler," I responded. His laughter reverberated throughout his entire office.
"Don't be silly; you don't know the reason why I was watching that video." He replied with a stern gaze.
"Can you tell me why? He was out of your team, but early in the morning, you were watching him." I responded with confidence, and I didn't even know where I got my confidence to speak up to him.
"Besides, you knew Skyler is really good, you can't deny that, and being a good coach means you should get the best players you can have to become the number one team all over schools in the entire country," I added.
