"I am sorry about last night, Selena." He said, and I smiled at him.
"It was okay. I should be the one who should apologize," I responded, and he closed the distance between us as he looked at me without fluttering his beautiful eyes.
"I don't want to believe what you said last night, and I pretended I didn't hear anything," Stan replied.
"Stanley, I want you to understand that I care and love you, and I don't want to hurt you," I mumbled as he stood so close to me.
"I know, but I don't want that kind of love, Selena. You know what I wanted." He responded, and I fell silent.
"Why do you have to choose my brother of all people, Selena?" He asked with pain on his face.
"I can't answer you, Stanley; it is hard to explain, I tried to fight it, but I failed," I said as I lowered my head.
