Skyler's POV
"Good morning, Skyler. Are you ready?" Pam asked right after she got inside my room, and I beamed at her.
"Never been ready," I replied as I walked toward the door and met her.
"Wow! You looked so different today," she responded, and I could tell she was watching me with wide eyes.
"What do you mean by that? Are you implying I looked ugly, Pam?" I asked, and she laughed.
"Of course not; there is no way you will look ugly, Sky. You still look dashing, but you look happier and alive now; one of your best assets is your killer smile, and if you kept smiling like that, I am sure girls would line up on your doorstep again." She responded, and I chuckled.
"I felt relieved that at last you looked happy again, and I could tell there was a woman behind that smile of yours," Pam added.
