Skyler's POV
Never in my wildest dream would I have imagined having Selena sleeping in my arms again, and how I wished to watch her beautiful face as she slept, but I couldn't. It made me feel sad, but as I listened to the steady beating of her heart, I grinned and felt better.
It was one hell of lovemaking, I felt exhausted in a good way, and I couldn't sleep at all. I never felt this alive, even after winning a game. How could I be so stupid to choose basketball over her?
It was too late now, but I guess it wouldn't be too late to make it up to her. I don't want to get up from bed, but knowing what happened a while ago; I know we don't have the energy left to cook, or shall I say, I wanted to stay in bed with her.
I groped onto the side table, careful not to wake her up. I grunted when the phone almost fell, and I felt glad I was able to grab it with my hand.
