Selena's POV
I didn't want to get up from bed even if my alarm buzzed. It was already past 7 a.m., but I felt too tired to move since I hated to look at the things around the estate that reminded me so much of Skyler.
It was only seven hours since I last saw him, but it felt like days. I will not be seeing Skyler for another three months. And as I looked at the clock on my wall, I realized at this time, my boyfriend was already in the capital, and perhaps he was already playing basketball with his teammates.
"Selena, sweetheart, it is a bit late for your usual wake-up time. Are you okay?" My dad asked as he knocked on my bedroom door.
"I am fine, Dad," I responded and sat on my bed.
"You may come in if you want," I added and he turned the doorknob open, and he slowly walked towards me, looking straight into my eyes, and I could tell he wanted to know if I was okay.
