Chereads / The Yandere's Sect Master / Chapter 59 - Imminent Rejection

Chapter 59 - Imminent Rejection

In front of me were the 3 people I've been thinking about the most ever since the incident. That Big Sister never ceases to amaze me, even her way of sitting on the couch had a sense of elegance and nobility. The dress she's wearing right now compliments her nicely. The missing fabric on her chest and accentuated legs really are a sight for the eyes.

It's a shame she doesn't speak much, the last meeting we had at the incident I don't think she even spoke a word to me! I suppose that's just how ice-cold beauties are.

Jinzi on the other hand is dressed just as well, there's a huge slot right below her chest which seems perfect for something to slip into. Seeing the underside of those breasts are just as tantalizing as seeing through the window of That Big Sister's chest, but with a completely different feel.

When I finally stopped paying attention to that I happened to see her flushed face.

'Oh! Is it that she's embarrassed to see me? Wait, her movements seem a little sluggish. D-did he drug her!? What a bastard, is it now enough that he gets to touch her!? He seems like he wants to force himself upon her!

That Big Sister is looking at me. Could it be that she's using her eyes as signals to tell me how she hates this? Of course, she must hate this too, but she's simply too powerless to stop it!

I should step in, who cares if I won't be able to advance in the Azure Sky Sect! It's only a phony top sect anyway! With my talent I'm sure I could do better!

Saving Sister Xue from someone taking away her innocence is much more heroic, perhaps if I help she'll give it to me instead!'

After finally deciding what to do, someone came from behind me.

"Oh? So you're having a little meeting with these people? Lord and Madame, I would advise against picking him if you had any thoughts about doing so."

A voice I hadn't heard in a long time appeared. I turned my head to see one of the people I had a plan for, but was completely overshadowed by the people on the couch.

This was Hao Fang, the man who prevented me from having a good moment with Sister Xue in the forest. He bowed with relevance toward the people on the couch.

'Ah, Shit! I completely forgot about this man! How could he appear now?! I was just about to speak up against that man! This Hao Fang was one of the reasons I originally had when I came here!

Now it's too late to deal with him and he's taken my spotlight too! If I still wanted to raise my rank in the sect like before I might have had a bit of trouble explaining this, but now it doesn't matter as much. His interruption is of no consequence to me.'

"Hmm? Junior, what could those reasons be? I'd like to know."

This time there was another surprise as I heard the captivating voice of That Big Sister. She had spoken, but it wasn't to me, instead it was toward this Bastard Hao Fang next to me and now it seems all eyes are on him.

I grit my teeth a little as I thought of a way to change their attention over to my subject, but I couldn't simply interrupt him. If I did That Big Sister would probably think bad of me, so I suppose I'll just sit here and wait till he's finished to change their attention.

"Thank you Madame! First of all I would like to tell you how I met this man, in fact he was with that Sister over there. You can confirm it with her after I've retold it to see whether or not what I've said is true." He motioned toward Sister Xue.

'On second thought perhaps I shouldn't let him speak. Anything he could say about that event will surely ruin me in That Big Sister's eyes.'

Before he could say another word I stepped up to cut him off.

"Don't listen to him! He only spouts lies, besides anything confirmed by Sister Xue in her current condition can't be considered truthful! Just look at how she's currently affected, it's as if she's been drugged!"

I saw That Big Sister's eyes furrow toward me, but anything that the man next to me would have said would be good. It would be worse than simply interrupting him.

Perhaps I was too loud, but I attracted the attention of the drugged Sister Xue after a bit of murmuring.

"Hah, Ughhh… Alcohol… Hehe, Husband… huh? I-it's you! I-I hate you!"

'No!'

"Look! It's obvious she's been drugged and that man has had such close contact with her all this time! You can't trust a word she says right now!"

(Jing Xiuying POV)

The corner of my mouth raised by the slightest margin as I found how hard he tried to look innocent, slightly amusing.

Darling can manipulate Qi within others, of course that means he could just even more easily cleanse her of her drunken state than a normal cultivator. I believe he won't though, I mean if he wanted to he would have already, he probably wants her to learn about being drunk. Or perhaps he simply wants to tease her about it after she sobers up.

When she inevitably reaches Median Opening then will she have the ability to self cleanse. When cultivators drink, as long as they don't become immediately intoxicated, they will be able to start cleaning themselves of the alcoholic content in their bloodstream, though it won't simply be an immediate process.

It's quite a useful ability especially when being ambushed. It's not often used in towns though since when people drink they want to become drunk.

Their resistance to alcohol increases though as they break through realms, but that is negated by special alcohols made of higher quality materials, such as spiritual fruits. Just like prisons and ways to escape them.

Jinzi pitifully struggled to wiggle out of Darling's arms before he finally just released her. Her face plopped onto the sofa for a moment as she slowly picked herself up. When she inevitably raised her head back up her face was covered by strands of her own hair.

Her drunken glare was directed toward the young man, Ye Chen. Her movements were sloppy as she tried to move off the couch. She was about to fall off face first until Darling caught her by the shoulders and stood her up right.

In that moment she seemed to sober up for just a moment as she gave Ye Chen a hateful look.There were glimpses in her eyes as it seemed like she was looking back on something.

"You… bastard… why are you here?..."

She was holding herself back from erupting into a fury. Her fists were clenched and she furrowed her brows.

Such obviousand undisguised hatred was easily noticed by Darling and an inquisitive expression surfaced on his face. He looked as if he was going to speak up for a moment before deciding to let it play out.

'Did something happen between the two? She shouldn't be like this to someone whose only thing they've done is speak badly about darling, right? At least that's how normal people are, perhaps she's like me in this aspect? I don't think her mindset is as extreme as mine, though.

Hmm, now that I think about it, at the end of that competition she had been with another person. I believe it's that man next to him isn't it? Perhaps the reason why this "Ye Chen" was replaced wasn't simply because of a happenstance after a peaceful farewell from him.

Even from my first meeting with him it seemed she was annoyed with him. After saving her she should have let some of that go, but it seemed to have even intensified. Perhaps that punch in the clothing store wasn't solely because of what he was saying at the time, but it still should have been a major part of it.'

"Come on call me Ye Chen, Sister Xue I-"

"Shut up! Don't you ever say my name! With what you were planning to do you really think you can act as you are!?"

She took a barely stable step forward as she pointed her finger at him. At this point that Junior from earlier had already taken several steps away, clearly wanting to not be in the middle of their conflict.

Jinzi had just yelled though and of course that would bring some unwanted attention. The lively banquet from earlier quickly quieted up as they all turned their attention to our corner. And at the center of that attention were of course Jinzi and Ye Chen.

A silence seemed to spread for a moment before the guests started to murmur to each other about the situation. Unbeknownst to most here, except for darling, I noticed that the old man and woman from earlier were secretly speaking to one another using a sound transmission.

With my specific set of skills I deciphered a part of it to listen in a little.

{Elder Yi, don't you think that young man over there has a lot of potential? I can feel that he has promise if we are able to nurture him.}

{If you say so Grand Elder, but if you want to take him right now would that not offend that 10th realm master you were speaking to moments ago?}

{Elder Yi, surely a woman in the 10th realm wouldn't care much about some random child still in the Body Tempering Realm. Besides, what happened between those two could simply be a misunderstanding! She is drunk after all and by you no less. At first I was a little angered at what you did, but now perhaps we could use it to our advantage and chase this opportunity. With her being drunk any statements she makes can still be plausibly denied.}

I may have both noticed and heard parts of this conversation but I wasn't the only one. Darling most probably noticed them communicating with one another, but probably doesn't have a way to hear them.

The only reason he even noticed was because he had activated a part of his cultivation. From the way he's looking at the situation I could tell the reason he activated it was simply in case Jinzi would be harmed. Her safety is a priority as it should be.

So at this point he should have already noticed what those two's cultivation levels are and probably scanned the whole building for any threats. Those two aren't even considered threats to me so how could he have any sense of crisis from this, of course that is unless there really is something on a terrifying scale around.

Suddenly his slightly tense expression relaxed as he looked at me with a smile. Seeing that comforting look I relaxed as well. I moved closer to him and nuzzled my head a bit into his shoulder.

With the fact that he activated a part of his cultivation I probably didn't even have to do anything if Darling wanted to make a move. He would be able to stop them before I even knew they had moved if he so wished. But of course I couldn't let that burden go to my husband, with his expression he would probably only move at the very last moment.

Thinking about the two's plan to take this Ye Chen away I thought it wasn't too bad an idea. We would then probably never have to see this man again. It was a win-win situation, they got a high potential disciple and we wouldn't have to deal with this perverted bastard..

For a moment I thought about memorizing his soul signature in case we run into him again, but thinking about how we would probably never run into their sect in this vast world I stopped this train of thought.
