Chereads / The Yandere's Sect Master / Chapter 17 - A Light Chat

Chapter 17 - A Light Chat

I sat outside a small changing room waiting for that parasite to finish. The shop I found wasn't large, but it wasn't small either. In the back there were 3 changing rooms which seemed to use up a good chunk of the store, but was actually one of the main reasons why I came to this store in the first place..

'I have to finish this as quickly as possible, Hubby is waiting for me at home! Ugh, but if I do then she might just get in the way! I can't win either way…'

*Creak*

The door I sat next to opened just a bit and her head poked out through the cracks. An innocent face looked at me nervously as strands of brown hair drifted around from the movements of her head..

"U-um, Aunty could you help me wear this? I-I don't know how."

'*Sigh* I guess if I had to pick the lesser of the two evils then keeping her away from him would be better than even giving her the chance.'

"Okay.. I'll help you."

As I entered the small changing room I closed the door behind me. The room itself could at most have another person before no one could comfortably stand anymore. On the side was a small bench with her robe draped across and in front of her was a tall mirror to look at one's self in a full view.

In front of me stood a person whose height didn't even reach my chin and with a face who many would probably swear on their life to protect like their own child. Yet those features would usually not correlate to the type of enviable body she had.

I even felt hints of jealousy rise from within me as I saw even more of her body. Bigger isn't always better since the quality wasn't guaranteed to carry over as well, at least that's how I comforted myself before when I looked at her body.

I thought back for a moment about that woman who escaped my clutches before. She also just so happened to be bigger than me, but not to the extreme of this parasite here. An intrusive thought entered my head for but a single moment.

'What if she also looked just as excellent? No, No! Damn it! Do we only look like this just because of cultivation? It does improve health after all, but I remember being born with this body. Wait, has she even stepped into the first level yet? Does any of this matter? Arrgh!'

"U-um are you going to help?"

"Tsk!"

'Damn you and that woman! Why do you both have to be bigger than me?! It's already hard to find a woman with a body such as mine, so why did you two have to appear out of nowhere?! It's like you two were specifically born to obstruct me!'

"Hello?"

A hand waved in front of me and I snapped out of my thoughts.

"O-oh I'm sorry! Here let me see it."

Just as her waves woke me up I started thinking more about happy thoughts.

'I am his wife, he chose me, I will never not be his wife, we will be together forever, once these bindings are bought her appeal will definitely decrease, I am perfect the way I am.'

Just thinking about those few simple thoughts eased my tension and calmed me down.

Holding onto the strings of the moxiong I draped the large cloth part over the front of her chest and onto her waist before tying it. There was still another pair of strings in the middle of the cloth, pinching either end I pulled it toward her back.

"Huh?"

I soon reached a point where I could pull any farther. Trying harder I made the strings reach her side and then just past the edge of her back.

"A-ah! P-please be more gentle!"

Ignoring the plea I pulled harder and finally had enough to tie a knot onto the end.

"A-ah, s-so this is how it's supposed to look?"

Looking into the mirror with her I still saw two mounds on her chest. They certainly weren't as large as earlier, but it was still a little problem. Perhaps not a practical problem anymore, but more of a social one.

'At least mine look bigger now, I guess.'

"*Sigh* I guess, that'll have to do."

"Mrs. Ying before you leave I'd like to ask you something."

"Yes? What is it?"

"Could we maybe stop being against each other?"

"Hmm?.. Whatever do you mean?"

"I mean about Big Br-I mean Sect Master Jiang. You did something to that spatial ring, didn't you?"

"Perhaps I did, perhaps I didn't."

"That's just as good as confirmation! I know why you probably hate me. It's because you think I'm going to steal him from you isn't it?"

"..."

"Your silence is just as good as saying it is and well… you weren't wrong. But that was in the past! I-it was only thought within me for a small period of time! I swear!!"

Hearing her directly confirm my suspicions I could feel my facial expressions become colder and more intimidating, especially the tone of my voice. I didn't even register the words she said afterwards, focusing entirely on the fact that she herself admitted that she was trying to steal my man.

"So you confirm it…"

"T-that's right."

"..."

I slowly raised my right hand and with a flash I grasped onto the item which appeared. It was a fierce looking dagger with several jagged points on the handguard and a straight and tapered blade. A bright, yet cold gleam of light from who knows where shined off the edges of the blade, of which its grip I held tightly.

I now had concrete evidence of what she was scheming after all she was the very perpetrator and she incriminated herself. I had a very clear reason to kill her now, if before there was even the slightest idea that what she did was all in my head it now vanished. Her death was of no meaning to me and even if it was for my darling with some consoling from me he would have already forgotten about her.

"H-hah?!? N-no wait!! I'm not done yet!"

With my left hand I raised it and grasped onto her shoulder with an increasing grip. Her bones in my clutches felt so brittle almost like they were twigs wrapped in soft leaves. If I just exerted more of my force on her shoulder one of her bones would fracture. I could so easily cripple her by shattering her shoulder.

"A-ah!! Aaahh! P-please, stop I-I have more to say, j-just hear me out please!!"

Hearing those cries once more I decided I could humor her by listening. What possible reasons did she have? She told me this information for a reason, no? It could all just be a lie to anger me in which case it worked, but can she even defend herself against an assailant of the first realm, let alone someone of my caliber. So then it must be true.

"Fine… I'll listen, I suppose this could be considered your final wish if what I hear displeases me."

With the hand I had on her shoulder I didn't release any of the strength, in fact I still increased it slowly and steadily as I forced her down onto the small side bench.

"Nnnn…"

As I forced her to sit down I could feel her quivering and shaking. Her long chestnut colored hair spilled and scattered around from the sudden action of sitting down. Her eyes trembled as she looked at me in what could be a new light.

She was clearly fearful of me, just like those women I had to deal with so many years ago. Being reminded of that memory I didn't feel anything, after all those 'people' were only insects, an infestation which I had to get rid of. They were an insignificant obstacle to my goal which I easily rid myself of. This matter is the same, but I suppose I could give her a chance.

"Speak…"

(Xue Jinzi POV)

'OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! This is crazy! T-this woman was seriously about to kill me! She's so scary! I wish she just acted like how she normally is! I-I've never experienced this kind of murderous situation before. I can tell how much she wants to kill me just by looking into her eyes!'

A dull pain radiated from my right shoulder, her hand slowly lodging itself into my shoulder. She didn't stop her increasing pressure, only slowing it down as I could still feel the increasing force. If the pressure kept increasing at its current rate my shoulder would probably be crushed before someone could finish drawing a bath.

A glint from my left took my attention, in her right hand she held an ornate dagger which gave off a sense like it would be welded by a demonic cultivator. Although I never saw any of those kinds of cultivators I felt like the person in front of me at this moment fit into my image of them.

Her vivid cerulean eyes with hints of violet usually had a luster to them to amplify their mystical effects, yet at this moment they lacked all life and felt more than emotionless, dead. Her brows furrowed ever so slightly, only adding onto the fact an angry attribute to her already murderous 'aura.' Her beautiful white hair which flowed down her shoulders felt like they heavily contrasted with the dark look of the current person.

"Why aren't you talking? This was your idea, was it not? Do you not believe I'll have the ability to kill you?"

She raised her right hand with the dagger and lightly poked my cheeks with the tip of the blade before lowering it.

'My thoughts are a wreck right now! What should I say to calm down the situation?!?! I didn't think she would act like this after I confirmed her thoughts! I thought she would only be extremely angry and might threaten me, but t-to this extent! I have to say something or else I might be able to say anything at all soon!'

"I-I h-have a p-proposition for you."

"Do you think you are in any position to negotiate anything right now?"

"Y-you can't kill me yet! E-else Mr. Jiang will be sad."

"You believe I won't kill you because of his sadness over your death? I am his wife! If anything you would only solidate my position as I console my grieving husband over the death of his 'pet.'"

"I heard yesterday that he wished that we could have harmony between the 3 of us. I told you the truth because I believed that his words could become a reality. I was hoping that together we could…"

"...Could what? Give him a harem? No, what reason do I have to split my share of him with other women? I currently have a monopoly of him being his one and only wife. Who in their right mind would share something so precious to them with others whom they barely know? I'm sure there may be a few altruistic people out there who would selflessly give, but I am not one of those people."

'She seems a bit selfish, how am I supposed to have any stake in it now? Is there anything else she might want?'

"..."

"Is that all you have to say? I guess there's no more reason to keep you alive then."

"Nooo!! I have one more thing I could tell you about!!" I quickly spoke, fearful that if I spoke any later she might kill me without me even knowing I died.

"Well?...What is it?"

"I-I it's this…"

I reached into the robes I sat near and took out the red teardrop shaped jade. It was the final option I had left for negotiations.
