Zhao Feng snorted. "I don't see the reason why you're saying this lantern is dangerous—besides the hidden poison in there but other than that, I don't see the big problem."
"Poison? Where?"
"It's odorless and colorless." Zhao Feng said, "I used to use—I mean, it would be used by people in the upper areas if they wanted to kill someone either slowly or with great intent. If anything, someone engaged to kill you—careless indeed, not as good as the person who tried to kill you when we first met thought."
Zhao Feng opened a box of matches, lighting it, as purple flames showed. "Cover your noses, this stuff—certainly isn't cheap, I can tell you that, just an ounce of this stuff would go for 200 on a cheap day."
"200 on a cheap day?" Emperor Long said, "The person who intends to kill me likely comes from a wealthy family or ruins of one, more likely."
"Like that country you conquered about ten years ago, I read about in history books—the women are especially skilled in seduction and killing, how scary, no wonder I won't have kids in the future."
"Zhao Feng, don't let your sister hear about it. She might have a heart attack at this point."
"Sure, she will. She's not any younger, I don't see the point of her forcing other women on you—you only love her, stupid women."
Emperor Long coughed while gaining his composure again.
"You know people that well?"
"Not hard to." Zhao Feng said, "This sword is good though, not as good as my preferred weapon but it'll do."
Zhao Feng looked around while kicking a girl to the ground.
"Hey! What was that for?"
"No one likes people sneaking around." Zhao Feng said, "Let alone when you have a sword in hand, I would've thought you intended on killing me."
"Killing you? For an imperial guard, you are rather impolite, seeing as I am, a princess, sister of the emperor."
"Sister-in-law." Zhao Feng said, "You're not old enough to talk with your flat-chested and shorter self, looking like a child."
