Vermond Acculiar was leading a great amount of troops towards the Haliora kingdoms Capital.
He didn't really want to go, as it was way more fun to have tens of female's naked in his bed then to see men and women fighting, but he had to come here, his father instructed him so.
Vermond was trying not to fall asleep as they traveled closer towards the Northern Wall of the Capital.
"Sir our front troops have reached the gate"
Vermond looked at the man who was talking. "okay so what?, why do you have to inform me on such useless information?"
"well sir, the problem is that it's closed, so we can't enter."
Vermond let out a loud sigh, "just blow the damn thing up."
"O..okay sir"
The butler closed the carriage door and walked towards one of the generals behind the carriage.
"Sir, the prince wants us to blow up the gate."
The general looked at the butler and just nodded.
Not much later a group of ten fire mage's moved out, they all started to chant their spells and then fired at the gate.
The gate itself shot up in flames and the iron bars behind it started to melt.
After waiting for some time a few water mages extinguished the flames and cooled down the iron bars.
After that the troops started to move trough the now destroyed gate.
...
Cyrus looked over all the dead bodies of his comrades and the humans.
"how should we deal with the reinforcements of the humans?" Axton asked.
"well I hadn't really planned on the humans having reinforcements, but in the end their still humans."
"Hahahaha, yes if we use our true form we'll wipe them out." Axton said.
"yes but only as last resort." Cyrus said.
Axton nodded at Cyrus, "then I'll go fetch Harlan and the others."
"just go straight to the Second North Wall I'll meet you there." Cyrus said.
...
The Lamonioriën empire's troops moved trough the north part of the Capital, some of the soldiers could see scared civilians looking trough their windows.
'so the northern side hasn't been taken over yet, stupid lizards. ' thought Vermond.
Some of the troops saw some Paraginions who we're just roaming around, but they just quickly bombarded them with spells, eventually killing them.
After about twenty minutes of marching they reached the second northern wall.
They could now hear some other people fighting on top of the wall.
"Front troops move two hundred meters back!" Vermond called out.
He was now standing on top of his carriage.
"I want all the mages to prepare their most destructive spells and wait for my signal!"
After some time they stopped hearing people fighting on top of the wall.
A lizards head then poked over the wall.
And others slowly started to follow.
'stupid animals.'
"FIRE!"
Thousands of spells simultaneously started to head towards the second Northern wall.
The eyes of the Paraginions on the wall wident, they quickly tried to get away from there.
But for most it was to late, a big part of the wall got blown to smithereens and so did most of the Paraginions who were standing there.
After a minute or so the dust and the smoke from the attack settled down.
Showing the true aftermath of the attack.
Vermond quickly scanned the broken wall and everything behind it.
"Knights move in closer!"
"the mages shall stay here."
As the knights started to move closer towards the broken wall, a few Paraginions with special colors could be seen coming out from behind some mansions.
Four of them transformed into bigger lizards, or better called drake's.
As they transformed, normal Paraginions started to also come out.
One of the four Drake's then rushed forward, almost standing before the Knights of the Lamonioriën empire.
"Attack!" Vermond yelled out.
The knights rushed forward with battle cries.
The Drake who wasn't that far in front of them started to emit a light brown glow, the ground under it then slowly started to shake.
Some of the knights who were close lost their footing, but some of the others still kept rushing forward.
The ground under the Drake then started to slowly transform, it turned into some kind of liquid which started to spiral around the Drake.
Not much later that liqued solidified around the drake turning it into a stone drake.
For some reason the Drake looked even more imposing in the eyes of the soldiers.
The first few knights lashed out at the ten meter long beast, but they couldn't make a scratch in the stone armor of the Drake.
The Drake didn't even look at them as stone spikes shot out of his stone armor, penatrating the fifteen knights who stood before it.
"damn! , Knights who can manifast mana attack The stone drake!"
The knights who couldn't use mana manifastation tried to quickly get away from the Drake, but before they could it started to rush at them, It's tail then extended and a lot of spikes started to come out of it.
The drake then swept it's tail at the knights, crushing most of their bones and instantly killing almost everyone it had hit.
The other knights in the front started to feel the ground shake and saw three other drake's rushing at them and thousands of Paraginions.
"mages release a barrage of spells over the front troops!, I want to see every single one of those beasts dead!"
...
A little boy who had survived everything that was happening at the moment, was looking at a small hill of human bodies trough the windows of a mansion.
Every few hours the hill got smaller and smaller, until their was nothing left.
The only thing that was left was a dark hole.
The boy kept staring into the hole, he wanted to know what was inside of it.
His curiosity had actually almost killed him, as thousands of lizards started to move trough the street while their was still a small hill of humans on top of the hole.
But at the moment they were fighting, he could hear it, but he wasn't interested in the fighting, the hole was way more interesting to look at.
Eventually the boy could see something, an eye, it wasn't an normal eye, it glowed and it's iris was a small slith with blue and red next to it.
The more he looked at the eye the more he started to shiver, unknowingly to him he had already wet himself.
After some time the eye focused on him, once they crossed eyes the world started to turn dark for the small boy.
He had passed out.
