The atmosphere became a bit awkward until Arthur cleared his throat.
"Aunt, why are you so concerned about something like this now?" He said, giving her a question.
To him, this was indeed a bit strange.
"What's the problem?" Isabel answered.
"It's not like you're that kind of woman, you know, you're like a matchmaker?"
Arthur thought that she needed to be teased a bit to get her to stop saying things like this.
Upon hearing his words, the woman's eyes blinked a few times, seemingly unsure of how to react to being called a matchmaker.
That left her speechless for quite a while. And then, it was as if she pretended nothing had happened.
She sat down in her chair, picking up a fork and spoon.
"Time to eat," she said.
Arthur didn't want to think about what she was thinking. That she stopped saying nonsense was enough.
Of course, she did seem to like Yukiko. While eating, she kept asking her about her life as an imperial princess and what she had been doing in Europe.
