Flint did not wake up.
It'd been over three days but he didn't wake up.
The mission was a success and the Baron paid them handsomely; and he also lent some knights.
Trace and her friend had also joined the organization and normally this would have been perfect.Β
But the problem remained-

Did not-
Wake up.
"Will he be fine?" Trace asked-
They were loading up a carriage.
A six-seater carriage with excess space for belongings.
"He'll be fine," Amanda said, putting the unconscious body of Flint next to her, resting his head on her lap as she took her own seat. "This power he used, came with some consequences, I suppose."
The new girl- and Trace's friend, Elle- had remained quiet. She didn't really know what to talk about.
The same with the other two recruits- the two soldiers lent by the Baron, Maros and Julia; one apprentice mage, another apprentice healer.Β
