Birds chirping and going back home-
"You know, one of these days, I'll propose to her-"
"Like you've been doing for the last two years?"
"Surely, she'll accept this time. I mean, I took my time and-" And he slammed his card on table- "Two pair!!"
During these last couple of years, he'd proposed to the same girl over and over-
Was it love-
Was it lust?
Or just plain stubbornness?
He didn't know.
He did know that the girl was warming up to him though.
And maybe she did like him from the start. After all, she did stay single the whole time. Certainly not because he was chasing out all the men who ever showed interest in her or anything.
"Too bad," A grin- "Flush!"
