"Are you sure?" The man said.

Swish! Wind passed by, barely touching their skins.

High above the cloud, the two celestials stared below.

Lights, some chatter: Huts, buildings, a village.

"Travesty is upon us. One shall rise, rest shall fall. It is but the will of the universe," a voice resounded, feminine in nature, commanding in tone.

"Perhaps," the man shrugged. "Or perhaps just a whim?"

Both behind the veil of darkness.

But- perhaps it wasn't the darkness. Perhaps it was something else. Something much more sinister. Something… not of this world.

"Let there be-" The hooded figure spread her arms up, almost as though praying- "Devastation!"

And everything… lit up.
