Martha was still caught in a deep sleep in her room. The room was dark, filled with Jason's dread.
Jason sat on the floor next to her bed clutching his feet to his chest. He felt a deep terror within him. He was terrified that the cloaked people might have done something to his mother but he didn't want to wake her. She looked so peaceful sound asleep.
'If those bastards even touched her, I swear to God I'm gonna hint them down and kill them all.' Jason thought in his heart. His eyes were filled with rage as he bore murderous intentions in his heart.
The thought that anyone would do anything to his precious mother choked him with anger. He loved her so much.
Jason ran down to the kitchen quickly and armed himself with both a cleaver and a baseball bat. He came back into his mom's room and watched her like a guard dog protecting its owner with all its might. His senses were peaked like that of an eagle on a hunt. He prayed and begged for the cloaked men to return and made a promise within himself to tear each one apart limb from limb if they came back in that night.
When he made sure she was doing okay again, he ran downstairs quickly once more and did a patrol round the house to make sure none of the cloaked people was still hiding anywhere around.
Still armed, he bore the countenance of a hungry lion seeking whom to devour.
'Why did I leave my mom alone? Look what happened! I'm so stupid! I'm so irresponsible!' He thought to himself, angry that he left his mom alone for two seconds and put her in danger.
Seeing that the whole house and it's surroundings were all clear, Jason ran back into the house. He locked all doors and windows before heading back up into his mom's room to guard her closely once again.
She was still sound asleep.
"Mom...please be okay when you wake up." Jason uttered, fear and guilt in his tone.
'So nothing changed then, I've still been turning into Crazy Mckill Kill at night?! How could I let myself...become that?? I thought I was handling it.' Jason thought as he slumped into a seat and clutched his head in his arms.
'So is that really it? I'm just gonna become this guy and kill Cleo again just like in my visions? I-I can't let myself do that! I have to find a way! I have to do something!'
Jason felt devastated at the thought of being the bane of his love Cleo. He hung his head down in resignation.
Suddenly, Jason felt a deep, heavy sleep begin to come upon him!
"No! No! No! No! No! No! No! Not now!!! Please!!! Noooo!" Jason exclaimed as he sprung up to his feet to try to shake it off.
He felt a deep dread wash over him because he knew what was coming! That was the last thing he wanted at that moment.
'No! Not this! I can't let myself...this time.' He thought as he struggled to keep himself awake.
Jason staggered to the door, his head nodding off at intervals and his eyes closing in the middle of his journey.
'I-I can't transform in front of mom, I cant put her in danger like that. I-I have to get away from her now.' He thought.
Jason managed to get to the door and gripped the handle tightly. He fell hard to his knees with the heaviness in his eyes but made sure he grabbed the keys out of the keyhole in the room. Opening up the door and crawled out of the room.
With his last few blinks, he slammed his mom's room door shut and locked her in so he wouldn't be able to get to her when he fully transformed.
He used his last bit of strength to fling the keys right under his mom's door to make sure she could get out by herself when she woke up.
And with that, Jason slumped to the floor and gave in to the sleep.
There was a silence for a while and then suddenly, a mist filled the air. The sound of bones cracking replaced the sound of the stillness of the night.
Jason sat up instantly. His bones cracked as he turned his neck a whole 360 degrees. He let out a piercing, inhuman screech and then a maniacal laughter.
His eyes were an unholy red, filled with darkness. A sinister smile was spread across his face.
It was Jason's body but this was not Jason. This was King Rami! And not just ordinary, normal, human King Rami, this was demon King Rami!
He let out a menacing growl and sprung to his feet.
"Everything is ready but I am yet to find my beloved. I cannot wait to see her beautiful face again, to hold her again and to kill her again!! HA HA HA HA!!!" He cackled loudly still bearing a sinister smile on his face.
King Rami jumped down the whole staircase and landed squatted on his feet. He had no use for the stairs. His bones crackled as he stood to his feet and he cracked his neck one more time before walking forward.
He got to the door and noticed it was locked. He smirked at the little hinderance stopping him from fulfilling his mission before effortlessly breaking the door completely off its hinges.
"Sorry little boy, but I will soon make your body mine and then, I promise you, you will have no need for houses." He laughed.
"I would drink the blood that I smell within this house but my men await my arrival with much more blood for me. I would not be the One Great Ruler if I had them wait too long." He gave a sinister smirk.
"The blood ritual must begin! The sacrifice must be offered! I MUST AWAKEN!" He roared into the night sky as he walked away and disappeared into the darkness.
