"What.. how.."
She couldn't control her words for a few seconds before speaking..
".. did you do that?"
Her eyes were completely widened by the unexpected move. Nobody could've sensed that at all.
The way Archehon moved was like he was using something that wasn't known to most the world, including the people who weld it.
"Hmm.. I don't know? I guess it was just luck..", Archehon equipped his spear on his back and began walking the other direction with his smile— which Linda didn't take too kindly to.
"Luck?? There's no way that was luck! I won't- Haa.."
She calmed herself down again and regained her composure after looking at his back.
"But, there's one thing that I haven't forgotten..", she crossed her arms and pierced her gaze to his head this time.
"That's my apology and thank you.", she smirked with her usual pompous attitude while he continued to walk away.
Archehon flinched and turned around—but not in the way she would expect.
"Apology? Thank you? What are you talking about, Linda? I haven't heard anything about that deal?", he shrugged for the third time and didn't even bother to hide his smile, which a person would do in this situation.

The arena's exit doors were closed and she was left there again, defeated.
"..."
"I will.. I will not let this slide.."
".. idiot.", she stood in place like a statue while Archehon walked down the academy hallways looking at his hands as he manipulated a strange but familiar substance.
It was squiggly, but also felt watery. The reason why it felt strange was because it felt like gas when he placed his hand through it. Its colors were dark and almost black, with a slight tint of magenta sprinkled inside.
"System..", he suddenly clenched his fist which turned the power to vanish into thin air like fire would when sucked off its oxygen.
'
'Can this Divine Power evolve even further, or is it stuck at this level?', he placed his eyes calmly on the system's dark-blue hologram. Yes, it was indeed Divine Power.
The power which Archehon obtained, only after experience through battles with Linda.
'
'Then, explain all of its current capabilities as you do with the rest of the skills.', Archehon spoke to the system while stretching his arms.
'
'
' Description: In the ancient era, where beings with incredible powers ruled the world, there were a few amongst them who manipulated a unique power whose energy slowly diminished to less people as time passed. This power had unique capabilities which could be compared with the four Dragons that used to rule the world tens of thousands of years back. B??c? Presence - ????? - Allows the host to: - Blend into any dark surroundings as long as nobody spots the user. - Blend other objects/entities into (the lightest form) of dark surroundings - Remove all existence of the user, preventing any entity from detecting the user. - Improve all senses to be 10x better. - Teleport to any other dark surrounding from the one that the user is in. Level: ????? >' "Hmm.. okay. This took me around a month to unlock. How long did the 'other' beings take to unlock their version of this ability?", he closed the hologram and focused on the usual dark-blue screen which he was used to. ' "What? Three days?", Archehon clenched his fists and tensed his eyebrows with inferiority. 'I've taken around almost ten times longer than they would?' ' Despite the facts proven to him, Archehon still struggled to contemplate on how slow he was. He did understand that the penalty would indeed increase the time, but not by this much as he believed the powers properties to be incredibly bizarre, unlike anything he had ever encountered in his previous life. "Haaa.. nevermind. Just.. show my status window." ' 'System Host: 'Archehon' (Lucifer in previous life) Level: 25 Title (equipped): Monster hunter (Amateur) Stats: Strength: 21(+4) Speed: 24 Dexterity: 17(+4) Intelligence: 21 Stamina: 25(+4) Luck: 22 Mana: 43 Fatigue: 28 Divine power: 1 Skills: ?? lvl. ??> Talent: Dell's Talent (-7.3x penalty) ' "It's just as I thought.", he sighed and was about to close the status window before having a glimpse of his current penalty. "Hm? It.. decreased? Why would it- ah.." The thought abruptly rushed into his mind and nodded before closing the hologram with a face that included a little more satisfaction than he had before. "I just remembered..", Archehon released a sigh of relief and began walking. "..I still have the 'Story Progress' that also decreases my penalty." His feet stepped in the direction of the academy hallways, towards the way of his dorms until he overheard a voice. "I'm telling you. I won't listen to what you have to say.." He travelled to his right, following the corridor, until he found two people in a classroom with no lighting. He peaked through the window. A green-haired boy stared at Mr. Snake, with a hateful look. 'Petyr? What's he doing with that creepy teacher?', Archehon looked at the long-haired man, who had a serious expression. "Petyr, you are one of the most promising students in the year.", his eyelids fell closer to each other as he glared down at Petyr with an irritated look. "It's your choice. If you do not want to attend my special class which is reserved only for talents such as yourself, then just remember that this is your last chance." Mr. Snake turned away and advanced towards the door on the other side of the classroom, opposite to where Archehon was peaking throwing the glass. The green-haired boy clenched his fists while only looking at the gray floor in the dark. "The eighth's.. I will get my revenge on them." 'Hmm..', Archehon thought with intent as he listened to the boy mumble. * * * The next afternoon... A Monday had passed, along with the sun till class was about to end. "That's all for class.", Mrs. Sunderland glistered with her usual smile, and everyone left, other than Archehon. Archehon quickly finished jotting down his writing and left the class. He walked down the hallways when suddenly a hand swirled towards the back of his head. He ducked and let the hand razor through the air, hoddling forwards. Once he had reached the ground with his two feet, he turned to stare at the three guys. They were all wearing "two's" on their chests as a badge. From this information alone, Archehon knew that they were all second years. But what sort of business did they have with him? "Wow, he really dodged that.", one of the three cackled in a newsome manner. The one who spoke wasn't very recognizable, also with the other one on the left. But the one in the middle? Archehon had definitely seen his face in the corridors a couple of times before, and despite not having any information on him, he still smirked. "He's smiling? This shit.. does he not respect his senio-", the one on the right was about to step forward but the 'boss' stopped him. The middle boss had ruby eyes and maroon hair. It stroke a intimidating appearance along with his dark thick eyebrows and oval face. He was also a couple of inches taller than Archehon and for the most part he had an expressionless face. But to Archehon, he could still see a hint of anger hidden with his lips as the lips were gently being squeezed by his teeth on the inside. His barely concealed anger was still reachable to Archehon's eyes as he smirked even further. Not uttering a single word. It was as if they were having a telekentic battle using simply their expressions. Although, to Archehon, it was nothing sort of inflating his opponents emotions like a balloon, so that it eventually would burst. Fifteen more seconds passed until the 'burst' happened after Archehon's glare challenged his. Dlong!— He pushed Archehon against the wall but Archehon didn't resist. He instead smirked even more. "Stop grinning like that.. I'll hurt you.", the red haired second year said with an expression of anger. "You haven't even told me why you've started your tamper tantrum yet? So why should I?", a whisper fell into his year. He let go. "I don't need to tell you anything. Just stay away from Linda." "Who even are you to her?" He unclenched his fist and thought of grabbing Archehon's collar again but stopped for a second and retreated. "Her step-brother." "Step-brother, huh?", Archehon began assessing the information then halted. "Okay, I'll stay away from her." "Good." Linda's step-brother left with his two other 'underlings?'. "I'll stay away from her until the next two seconds. One.. two.", he grinned. "I wonder.. somehow, that didn't feel like an overprotective brother but something else.. hm.. ah!" Archehon fell silent for a few seconds with widened eyes and then went back to his regular plain expression. "I guess that's something to keep note of." "Hey, Archehon!", Atif ran down the hallway until he reached him. "Hey, Atif." "Let's finish up the General Weapons Class project.", he smiled and the feeling was mutual.
