Chapter 7 - Petalburg City Gym Leader is...Uncle Max!?

The sun rose into the sky and Silver woke up. She still saw Sylvia on the bed but this time she was on her phone.

"Sylvia, do you like Calvin?" Silver asked.

Sylvia was stunned and she gave her a look between a blush and an intense frown, Nevertheless, She still looked incredibly cute.

"I don't know." Sylvia said, "I like him and I know he likes me but the problem is …"

She gave a gentle sigh.

"I already like Mark more than Calvin, I hope you understand and I really don't want to hurt his feelings especially to break someone's heart to please another." Sylvia said, "I plan on telling Mark about my feelings today and rejecting Calvin all over again today."

Silver didn't like what Sylvia had said, Although Calvin and her had only spent a day together, They were friends and Silver didn't want Calvin to be heartbroken.

Yet, This situation seemed too extreme for Sylvia to bear.

"Ugh...I hate to say this but I think it is best to just reject Calvin. He will get over it." Silver said. Calvin wasn't going to be happy if he heard she had just motivated Sylvia's decision.

"Right and plus that guy is an extreme goof, I think it would be preferable for him to mature a bit." Sylvia said, chuckling to herself.

"Now that is something that I fully agree with." Silver said and went to the Bathroom to freshen up. She went to reception and saw Mark heading to the room where she had just come from.

"Nurse, can I get my Pokémon now?" Silver asked. She was given the Pokéballs of Ralts and Zigzagoon.

"Have a nice day." The Nurse said and gave Silver a Phone.

"It seems that your friend left his phone here yesterday." The Nurse said, handing over to Silver a red phone.

"Alright, I'll make sure to give it back to him." Silver said. She put the phone in her bag and left the Pokémon center.

She headed to the back of the Pokémon center because she thought she heard a Snoring sound. Behold, She found Calvin sleeping on a pile of hay.

She hit his face but it was of no use, He was deeply asleep.

"Ralts! Come on out!" Silver ordered and Ralts came out of it's Pokéball.

"Alright! Use confusion to bring him with us!" Silver ordered and Ralts nodded, It's eyes suddenly glowed in blue and Calvin rose into the air. They headed back inside the Pokémon center where Mark and Sylvia were at reception.

"What the?" Mark exclaimed, clearly confused at the situation.

Silver took Calvin's Pokéballs from his utility waistband.

"Nurse, please heal up his Pokémon." Silver said and the nurse nodded, Taking the Pokémon inside the room behind her desk.

Silver took the keys from Mark and took Calvin to the room. She opened the shower.

"Ok! Ralts! Strip him of his clothes!" Silver ordered. Ralts eyes released a blue light brighter than before. Calvin's clothes were pulled and he was completely naked. Silver obviously like any typical girl shielded her eyes.

"Throw him inside the Bathroom and on the shower!" Silver ordered. Ralts did as her trainer ordered and on the shower.

Calvin who had been deeply asleep while having a very Rivaling dream.

"Ah!!!" Calvin shouted as the Cold water of the shower touched his skin. Silver opened her eyes and saw the Bathroom door was locked.

She returned Ralts to its Pokéball. She waited and soon Calvin came out of the Bathroom wrapped in a towel.

"So you were the one that did this after finding me sleeping on the Hay? Pretty thoughtful." Calvin said. She expected him to shout but he reacted in the opposite way, He actually expected this to happen.

Calvin pulled out a new set of clothes from his bag and wore them while stuffing the original ones he wore in his bag.

"Quickly, Let's go to the gym but first, Where are my Pokémon?" Calvin asked, calmly.

"I gave them to Nurse Joy, She is healing them." Silver said and they locked the room. They went downstairs, collected Calvin's Pokémon and returned the keys to the room.

"Sorry for the Inconvenience." Silver said.

"None taken. At least, not for the trainer who was able to hold his own against one of the Admins of Team Constellation. In fact, This news has been broadcasted to all Pokémon centers." The Nurse said.

"Alright." Calvin said and they went to the Gym.

The Gym was a large building which was a pale gray color with a Pokéball emblem on the roof of the building. They went through the doors.

The Gym leader and Mark were in a heated battle.

"Mudkip! Blast it with Mud shot!" Mark ordered.

'Doesn't Mark know that this is a flying type Gym? That Pokémon...It's the same Swellow from Yesterday.' Calvin thought.

A familiar voice talked to Mark.

"You are reckless trainers! Both of you! That is why you weren't able to hold your own against the Pokémon trainer of yesterday." A man said. Now that he wasn't in his hoodie, Calvin could see him clearly.

He had black hair and a muscular build, He also wore glasses. Can anyone guess who this is? It's Max!!

"That Pokémon trainer was on a whole other level than us." Sylvia replied, She had already lost her gym challenge.

"Is that your excuse? The trainer with that Charmander did a better job than you guys, He was able to survive against that trainer that you say is on a whole new level." Max replied then he turned to the battle.

"Swellow! End this, Steel wing!" Max ordered and Swellow nodded. It flew to Mudkip at a high speed hitting it with it's wings that seemed to be made of steel now. Mudkip rolled to it's trainer and fainted.

"Before trainers can win in this gym, They need to have considerable experience with their Pokémon and know how to battle with them flawlessly." Max said, "Also, You can say that I once trained with Ash Ketchum."

Suddenly A trainer came forward, Calvin stepped forward.

"Yes,The most talented trainer out of the group has come for the Aerial Badge." Max said.

"Uncle Max, Don't you recognize me?" Calvin asked and Max immediately leapt like an agile tiger and hugged Calvin.

"Calvin, You have grown!" Max said while hugging May's son tightly.

A warm reunion.
