All 15 of them? God this woman had insecurity issues. "well you can't uh blame me."

"Yeah, exactly, I can't but let me make this clear, I'm not some dumb concubine that you toss around like a rag, I won't allow you and you know it. If you change I change, simple"

Luke verified just how jealous she could be, her surprising change in mood was a mystery. But he didn't mind having someone to fuss over him.

"Can we just start from the top?" Luke asked nicely, that she couldn't resist. She brought out her hand in agreement. He took it and pulled her to him, and pressed his lips on hers.

"Agreed." He said not knowing that was her first kiss. She was flustered and her eyelashes blinked once, twice, thrice.

"That was uh... My first kiss" she mumbled to herself but Luke hears it.

Luke leaves her alone as he walks away, clearly taken aback by her confession. His strong back disappeared into the many hallways.

"Is he mad at me?" Aliyah pondered to herself, trying to gauge her predicament.

He just stole her frigging first kiss, she should be the one fuming with anger not him, anyways, it was enough messing around for today, she still had to meet her so called father in-law.

*** A few hours later***

Aliyah finished talking with her father in-law, they spoke quite freely and agreed on almost everything, Luke wasn't there to listen or hear their conversation, but she didn't mind, his father was much better company.

She went up to the room supposedly 'theirs' and sat down on a chair, then suddenly she drifted to sleep.

She falls into a strange dream, her first dream since she got trapped in this cursed land. It was dark all over, no one was there apart from a boy, crouched down on his knees crying, next to a grown woman in white that was sleeping, the sobs intensified as she got closer.

She realised the woman wasn't sleeping, she had a stab wound to her back, she was...

Dead.

The young boy looked up at her, the boy looked just like Luke, his soft hair, his cat shaped eyes, his sharp nose. The boy trembled as he looked down at his bloody hands.

"I didn't do this to my mother, please get away from me." The boy mumbled to Aliyah.

Aliyah sprung up, awake, she realised she was now on the bed with a strong arm wrapped around her waist. His nose brushing against her shoulders.

She couldn't get out of his grip even if she tried, she noticed his hands squeezed her as he shut his eyes closed, his body trembled and he seemed like he was having a bad dream.

"I'm sorry, it wasn't me... I swear! Please forgive me." He whimpered in his dream, he was evidently crying when tears fell on her shoulder, his grip remained strong. But Aliyah rested quietly without a sound, something happened that he was trying to hide.

Aliyah got his wide, shaky palm, that was quivering under her touch, she entangled her fingers in his and his eyes fluttered open, revealing his chestnut brown eyes.

Aliyah rolled around to meet his gaze and smiled as she ran her fingers through his hair.

"It's okay Luke, it's just a bad dream" she says, wiping off the sweat that found itself on his pretty face.

Luke gazed at her for minutes, gauging what to say next. Then he buried his head in her neck and huffed back and forth.

He was supposedly sleeping to her, but God knows he wasn't, he was busy inhaling her scent, and using this as a small opportunity to snatch cuddles.

They both hated each other because of past experiences, they were both traumatized after strange encounters, encounters that make them stronger every passing second.

They laid in that position throughout the night, Luke refused to leave as he pressed his wide chest on her small chest. He was 6 foot 2 and that made her ponder to herself why she was only 5'5 to her she was tall but to him, she was a little shorty.

Morning peeked throughout the room, it took an hour or two for Aliyah's eyes to open, and she found Luke looking at her intently.

"Did you sleep?" She asked curiously. "momentarily" He replied.

She was puzzled for a second, scrunching up her eyebrows, "huh? Is it because of your dream?" Luke slowly shook his head.

"I was remembering our kiss." Aliyah rolled her eyes, and sat up on the bed. "If you hated it that much maybe, you shouldn't have kissed me!"

"Boy you can throw some tantrums" Luke said to himself, still lying on his back, he rolled over and met her gaze. "I have something to tell you."

"What?" She asked, keeping her arms crossed below her chest.

"This is not the first time stuff like this is happening, you know" he scratched his head, thinking for the right words.

"Ehem, we are cursed and we have to fulfill a prophecy together in this realm, basically because we are linked to this place, they chose use to fulfill it, if something goes wrong either we both die in the end or we get wiped out, I married you so we can be close and we will get out of here together."

Aliyah's jaws drop and her eyes widen.
