Chapter 6 - Chapter Five: Marry Me

The person outside the door didn't wait another second to waltz into the room; the sweet scent that remained all too familiar to Aliyah filled the dining room.

It was.

It was.

A servant, seemingly having Luke's scent because he may have been with him not so long ago her sense of smell was not mistaken, it was one of her abilities.

She frowned; her imagination was playing tricks on her.

She never liked men because during her youth every man abandoned her so she had resentment towards their gender, she was an independent spirit and the thought of her being physically attracted to someone meant a lot. She wasn't convinced that Luke was the "one", if there was even a "one."

Seconds later the servant strolled over to her father and whispered something into his ears. Fredrick nodded in agreement and before she knew it, Luke walked into the room, his scent bringing her towards the edge of heaven.

His high steps demanded attention, and attention he got, he walked behind her seat and pulled out a chair to seat beside her, now she had a closer view of his physique.

His physique was something any woman might. No! Would find severely endearing. But she wasn't just any woman she was Miss Aliyah Sun-Young Park, second child of Mr. Frederick Park and Mrs. Nali Park and sister of Leah Park and what differentiates her from the rest is that, they aren't her.

The two men talked about politics and military expansion, Luke didn't say anything just nodded at her father's excessive blabbing. Aliyah didn't think he had much to say, considering how one-sided the conversation was.

Her imagination really made her life miserable, how could she be able to be so boring, even in her dreams.

She glanced at Luke, 'what exactly was going on in his head?'

Luke---

I have never heard someone as boring as King Fredrick, I felt like the world wanted to punish me for something I was unaware of, or maybe probably something I didn't care about.

He was blabbing absolute rubbish and I could see how bored Aliyah was, I could feel her pain.

I kept glancing at her while she was playing with her fork and food. I knew she didn't know what was going on, I knew she felt like this was a dream and I was determined to change that.

My eyes wandered around her face, to her neck and her shoulders to her left hand where I saw a gash of dried blood.

She was never wounded on our first meeting at the office and I was sure her father wouldn't be pleased if he had found out sooner.

I realised that if she still had the mentality of this was a dream, she would want to get out. She has so many meeting and schedules to meet, she would believe me when I try to get us out. I didn't even realise when I was smiling.

"Luke? Are you smiling because of our kingdom's potential civil war?"

I was so spaced out I didn't even know what he meant.

Apparently Aliyah's father was talking about their potential civil war crises but I frankly don't care about what happens to this curse of a country.

"Can we begin the agenda of the day? You seriously can't hold a conversation" Luke said, trying to wriggle out of the room and this conversation.

He was truly uncomfortable because he likes straight forward people and not people that beat around the bush, he knew what was supposed to happen but he wanted it sooner instead of later.

"Ah yes your Highness" Fredrick muttered under his breath, "Aliyah, Luke is going to be your husband."

Aliyah practically choked on her water after hearing that, "Ehem... What?!" She chirped.

"You must be joking! I barely know him!" She retorted. Luke rolled his eyes sarcastically.

Luke inched closer to Aliyah.

"Come with me and I'll explain all this to you" he whispered to Aliyah.

Aliyah wanted to slap his face off hers but she kept her cool, she needed answers, and her hands were also tingling with the urge to kick some ass.

Luke led her outside the room with his grip tightened around her wrist.

"Where the hell are you taking me to?"

Luke sighed and rolled his eyes, this lady really was a pain in the butt.

"I demand to know!" Aliyah screamed at the top of her lungs, suddenly a warm hand was on her mouth.

"Can you just shut up? I had an agreement with your dad, to marry you and get you out of your misery, Aliyah. You probably don't know this but this is not a 'dream', it never was! I'm real, and so is the wound on you hand, I'm trying to get us out of this stupid realm and I bet you have no idea how you got here, neither do I and I won't till you let me help you!"

Luke heaved angrily, he was clearly pissed off and he lifted his hand off her mouth.

"Are you trying to say this is real?" Aliyah asked, clearly amused.

"You don't believe me? Fine!" Luke took a step forward leaving a little gap between them.

"What are you doing?" Aliyah asked.

"The only thing to prove this isn't a dream." He stepped closer and Aliyah felt a small bit of pain that ran on her forearm.

"What the hell?! You pinched me!" She exclaimed.

"See. You felt it, you felt pain! This isn’t a dream and I can tell the area still hurts, just take your time to believe me and we'd get out of here."

Aliyah started laughing hysterically.

"This is my dream I might as well take advantage of the hottie in it, I'll agree on one condition."

"Ugh! What?" Luke asked impatiently. "You make this adventure worth it, now marry me!" She commanded.

Luke was so confused by her words was this girl truly insane? She still thought this was a dream that she could control, well it wasn't and not everything she could control, he couldn’t just pretend to play along when their lives were at stake.
