After a few more hours of riding, Luke and his crew finally came to a halt. They were finally at Rynaden. Luke smiled as he got off his horse and saw the beautiful landscape of the kingdom he called his own.
The green perfectly trimmed shrubs, outlined with the rarest of flowers that were adorned with floral pots of rare nature, the flowers each had their enchanting scent, making anyone who crossed there to be drawn by its grace. This was just the outskirts of the kingdom and not even the castle.
Just outside the great marble gates of his home, his heart beating with joy and happiness,Luke came to a halt, he paused before breathing out the words below.
"Home sweet home" Luke said.
V rode her horse past all of them just when the great marble gates were about to open. Everyone from the inside of the kingdom yelled and applauded at the sight. They were excited because they finally found the lost King and his Queen.
"Long live King Luke!" they chanted from wherever they were. It was barely evening but the sun had plans to set anytime soon.
They rode their horses majestically to the castle outskirts. Luke was the first to get off his horse. All four of them marched to the castle, Luke opened the two doors simultaneously without breaking a sweat.
Immediately a brown skinned woman came rushing towards the door, almost as if she had been timing their arrival.
"Hermes!!" The woman said joyfully, closing in for a huge bear hug.
"Aunt Arianna, don't you think this hug is a bit too tight?" Luke said, struggling to breathe while Aliyah giggled softly.
"Where are my manners?" Arianna said still hugging Luke.
"Come inside all of you!" She said in a rather high pitch.
Stepping inside Aliyah was caught in awe, it was almost as if the castle got re-designed in less than 5 days.
The ceiling was painted in abstract colors that seemingly glowed in the evening light. The walls were covered in multi-colored marble, the floors were spotless and reflected the face of everyone in the room. From the ceiling hung dozens of chandeliers of which were ornamented with gem-stones.
The maids working there seemed to be on a strict uniform of all black and grey, working tirelessly to keep this mansion of a a kingdom spotless, there were at least 10 of them in the room and none of them failed to take notice of the arrival of their missing king.
As Luke stepped inside they all bowed on their feet, recognizing his level of superiority and all Aliyah could do was to gawk at the castle in absolute intrigue, Arianna just seemed to enjoy the company of her nephew as he filled the area with his undeniable scent. Even after 5 days of being lost he still smelt nice. Aliyah couldn't believe if this was a superhuman feat to spend 5 days without soap and no body odour. How?
"Wow" Aliyah said under her breath, completely ignoring the fact that she was the only one left outside. She tried walking towards the center of the room where her friends were, but she couldn't help subconsciously clenching her stomach, doing that motion made her bag swing a couple of times but she didn't mind.
Arianna didn't fail to take notice of her movement.
"Sweetheart, are you alright?" Arianna said worryingly.
"Yeah I'm fine..." Aliyah couldn't finish her sentence before she collapsed on the floor. Clutching her stomach tightly. The gem which held Deyn glowed as her pain grew.
Arianna was the first to sprint towards her. Aliyah grabbed her stomach tightly as she gasped for air, seemingly seeing her life flash before her eyes, her eyes watered as she looked at her hand which had been pressed onto her stomach, it was soaked with blood, her blood .
"What are you guys standing there for? Take her to a freaking doctor!" Arianna screamed at the crowd of maids surrounding her. Luke swept her of the floor and caried her in his arms, away from Arianna and anyone else, ran for the door. His destination was the infirmary.
Luke finally located it ad mist all the panic and hurry
"Hello?! Is there anyone fucking here?!" Luke said in a frustrated manner. As he stormed into the infirmary.
"Hello sir!" The doctor said.
"I don't care about pleasantries, she's dying!"
The doctor looked at Aliyah before gathering his equipment.
From the bed Luke placed her on she just remained there staring at Luke tears streaming from her eyes.
"I'm... Going... To die right?" She said weakly.
"No you can't die! Everything is going to be alright I promise" Luke said, burying his disturbed face in her shoulder.
"Your majesty, I need you to exit for a moment." The doctor said, Luke went out immediately on rage.
She stormed back into the previous room where Aliyah had collapsed.
Everyone was there waiting for news.
'"that bastard, Draken is going to pay!" Luke said, his eyes turning red, blood red.
