Luke woke up in a world away from the now Earth, he was home. No one on earth knew about this and he intended to keep it that way, until he found her, Aliyah, she was the 'one'.
Aliyah is one of the very few world jumpers, she had a mission to accomplish in this world, and something is going to go wrong if she doesn't trust him.
He straightened his robes well and adjusted his hair, his long hair touched his back delicately, and he looked like something that came from anime.
He looked at the room around him; it was exactly to his taste, modified and advanced like him.
---
"Your Highness, you still haven't met His Highness" a maid whispered softly, Aliyah woke up abruptly from her slumber; she rubbed her eyes and yawned while looking around "I'm still in this damn dream huh?" She muttered to herself as the maid stepped out of her room. She sat up on her bed and stood up, admiring how large the room was, even as a mega rich app developer, she couldn't help but to applaud her imaginative mind.
She twirled and danced around the greatly ornamented room, happy that this was the one place she could find bliss in all her troubles, she sighed after dancing for a while she stopped "If I'm lucid dreaming, that means I can wake up right, but when I try it doesn't work?" She stopped.
"When I was beginning to think that I was back in control!" She kicked the pillow in front of her "How did I get to bed? And should I be sleeping in sleep?" She slapped her forehead, "Maybe I'm over thinking this."
Some maids come in to dress her up after that, "what's your name?" Aliyah asks the young woman around her early twenties, smiled "Freya, your Highness" the maid spoke.
"Is there anything going on in this palace I should know about?" She asked. Freya toyed with the messy things on her bed before turning to look at her.
"Yes, you're expected to get married as an exchange between two kingdoms, but I don't know who the other party is Your Highness" Freya said, respectively.
"So I'm getting married huh?" Aliyah asked. "Yes your Highness, but all shouldn't be gloomy for you, there are lots of women that find their 'one' through this process, I don't think you should be an exception" she spoke, slowly choosing her words carefully.
"That's okay can you tell me more about this kingdom as you perform your duties?" Aliyah asked, knowing she can't say no "of course!"
After all the conversations with Freya, she formed a bond with her, too bad some prince will snatch her away from Freya, recognizing her position, she dared not to argue even though Aliyah insisted, when she was done Aliyah exits her room and heads towards the hallway, she searches for a couple of maids after realizing she doesn't know where 'his highness' is she stopped between 2 maids, one was very old and one was drastically young, it looked like his Highness didn't have his preferences straight yet. They both bowed down simultaneously.
"Do you know where his Highness is?" Aliyah asked so politely that the maids flinched. "He's at the dining room Your Majesty" the younger one replied. The older maid glared at the younger one.
"Good morning, Her Majesty. Forgive my granddaughter for her arrogance, she's still a bit new, apparently, she forgot how to greet." The young girl's eyes widened in fear and she instantly knelt down, pleading. Aliyah looked at her in surprise, and held her hand for the little girl to stand.
The girl took it, shakily. "Stand, little one, you did nothing wrong." Aliyah said softly, smiling as she cupped the little girl's cheeks in her hands, looking deeply into her bright blue eyes. "Now, what's your name, pretty girl?"
The girl smiled and whispered into Aliyah's ear: "Heather" she said and grinned. "Now Heather, do you mind taking me to the dining room?" Heather grinned and placed out her hand for Aliyah to follow.
---
"Your Majesty?" Someone tapped Luke, as he was in his study, he was surrounded by piles of paperwork, and his head was resting on the table in frustration.
"Mmmmm?" He answered, "You have a schedule to meet with Dynopia" Luke chuckled in a sinister way something was being plotted by someone...
Heather led Aliyah to the dining room to meet a prominent figure, his back was facing her, and she dismissed Heather and straightened her clothes, "His Highness?" She called out, her voice was barely a whisper, the man turned back and her heart flew to her mouth.
He was wearing intimidating military attire.
'It can't be.
..
It won't be...
This is only my mind not accepting the facts.'
The thought comes into her head, she tries shaking off the tears, but they roll down anyways.
Her body grew weak, realizing that prominent figure was her father.
.
.
.
A wave of nausea hit her, like she has just seen a ghost which if you were in her shoes, she just saw one. His soft features, his stress driven eyes, his sharp pointed nose.
Everything seemed the same apart from his aura. Something was off about him and she couldn't figure it out until she wrapped her arms around him and cried softly.
She missed her dad so much after leaving her all alone on earth, now he was in her dreams!
Instead of happiness, his face looked disgusted at her, instead of happy and glad, his eyebrows scrunched up as he was trying to figure out what was happening and why she was crying.
Aliyah expected him to hug her back, but he shoved her away and straightened his clothes,
Not caring where she fell or how she felt.
He looked at her with the most disgusted face she had seen a person contort. She instantly felt rejected and devalued.
"What has gotten into you? You dare touch me?" That was the first thing he spat out from his mouth, making Aliyah quiver with sadness. She felt like she was some kind of unwanted cockroach in her dream, her dream was supposed to be something of wonder, excitement and most importantly, positive.
She was happy that it got to a positive turn but she felt totally ridiculed and admissible by her own father. Now the thoughts trickled in, nobody wanted her not even her father. Sad it was, very sad.
She clenched her fists to a ball, she was angry. Her emotions were swirling inside of her; her eyes could barely shield the tears from strolling out.
"Aliyah! We need you to sign this paper; you have been delaying for quite some time, and try to do something about that weird and unruly attitude of yours."
Filled with resentment towards her imagination, she signed the paper without looking at it; it was a statement that couldn't be reversed.
---
"King Luke?" A servant asked as Luke spaced out from this world, he was thinking about something very important, how to win.
"Princess Aliyah signed the paper sir," the servant began, the servant looked around the room with fear, the room reflected how powerful Luke was, everything and anyone will be scared upon looking at it.
"Good" Luke muttered, carrying a grin on his expressionless face, it was only a matter of time until things fell into place.
