Chereads / Stuck With Mr. Billionaire / Chapter 6 - Inappropriate Reply

Chapter 6 - Inappropriate Reply

Katya stepped out of the bathroom with puffy eyes. It was twelve o'clock in the evening, and Arthur had not yet returned to the apartment. Whatever her husband was doing, Katya really didn't care. She was still furious and disappointed at the way Arthur had treated her.

"I haven't even been a wife for a day. What about the next six months?" Katya let out a long sigh. She couldn't imagine the suffering she would endure from Arthur's treatment over the next six months.

The eyes that had just closed were now open again. Staring at the ceiling, she thought about Juan. Did he already know about her marriage to Arthur?

"I miss you Juan. Are you there missing me too?"

It was clear from Katya's eyes that she was very sad. Of course, who wouldn't be sad if they were in her shoes?

The door to the room opened suddenly, making Katya gasp in surprise and then hurriedly wipe away her tears. Arthur was like a demon that came as a sudden surprise.

"Why did you rush home and leave me there?" Arthur was staggering from too much alcohol. Katya immediately moved to help Arthur from falling.

Arthur smiled seductively as he looked at his wife from a close distance. "You must be looking forward to our first night, right, Baby?"

Katya pushed away Arthur's hand that was about to cup her cheek. "You'd better take a shower now."

"You want to shower with me, hm?" Arthur brought his face closer to Katya's. The smell of alcohol was overpowering Katya's sense of smell and it was very uncomfortable.

"Come on...."

Arthur chuckled in annoyance as Katya moved her face away when he was about to kiss her on the lips. "Why are you avoiding me, huh?" he asked, feeling offended.

"You're drunk. Now you better take a shower to freshen up."

"I'm not drunk, Baby. Come on, we have to have our first night." Arthur smiled mischievously with his eyes wide. Then he pulled Katya by the scruff of the neck and made their distance even more deflected. But suddenly....

"Huek! Huek!"

Arthur vomited all the contents of his stomach onto Katya's nightwear. Then he sinlessly fell unconscious.

Katya groaned in annoyance. The smell of Arthur's vomit really stung her senses. She wanted to curse, but it was her own husband who did it. Huh!

The morning sun was shining beautifully. Katya with her apron on was making breakfast in the kitchen. Arthur was still asleep in his room. Katya wasn't a master of various dishes, but she wasn't too blind about the kitchen either.

After serving some of the dishes she had made, she hurried to wake Arthur up.

"Arthur, let's get up. You should have breakfast."

Katya's voice didn't disturb Arthur's sleep in the slightest, so the girl gave him a gentle pat on the arm.

"Arthur...."

The gentle pats managed to disturb Arthur's sleep. He snorted indignanty without opening his heavy eyes.

"Let's have breakfast."

Arthur grabbed a pillow and covered his ears to avoid hearing Katya's annoying voice.

Katya sighed. After all, she was now a wife and it was clearly written in their marriage contract that Arthur wanted their household to run like any other. Katya would fulfill her duties as a wife and Arthur would provide for her.

"Do you want me to bring your breakfast here?"

Although his ears were covered by pillows, Katya's voice could still be heard.

"Well, I'll go get the breakfast first."

Arthur really didn't care. Meanwhile, the girl went to the kitchen and got breakfast for Arthur and a glass of water.

"Here's the breakfast. I put it on the table-, aaaa!"

Arthur suddenly woke up and brushed aside the plate and glass in Katya's hand. The sound of the two objects shattering filled the room.

"HOW NOISY ARE YOU! DON'T YOU KNOW, I'M IN DEEP SLEEP?!"

Katya's body shivered with fear. Arthur's anger made Katya unable to hold back tears. She was very sensitive to yelling.

"I'm sorry. I just want to be a good wife-"

"SHUT UP!"

Katya closed her eyes tightly. Arthur swore at her so easily. Even though Katya's intentions were good, she wanted to fulfill her duties as a wife.

The ringing sound of his cell phone distracted Arthur. He picked up the sophisticated flat object from the nightstand, then answered the incoming call.

"What?"

"...."

"Hmm."

Arthur hung up, then climbed out of bed. Walking past Katya who was crying with her head bowed. Arthur didn't care, he was still furious that his sleep had been disturbed.

"No need to cry. Clean it up!" That was all Arthur said before he went into the bathroom.

Katya wiped the tears from her cheeks. Shards of shards and glass littered the floor. Not wanting to make Arthur scold her again, Katya squatted down and started collecting the shards carefully so as not to hurt her hands.

Once finished, Katya prepared Arthur's clothes and put him on the bed. Then she stepped out and waited for her husband at the dining table.

Arthur smiled slightly as he came out of the bathroom and saw his clothes on the bed. Of course he knew who had prepared them.

"So she's really fulfilling her role as a wife?" Arthur chuckled. Then was the man wearing the clothes Katya had prepared for him? The answer was no. He chose to take his other clothes from the closet. Afterwards, he walked outside and saw Katya sitting at the dining table, waiting for him.

Sensing someone's arrival, Katya looked at Arthur who was now sitting with her. She furrowed her brow as Arthur was not wearing the clothes he had prepared earlier.

"Why?"

"What?"

"Why didn't you have breakfast?"

Katya glanced at her breakfast and then back at Arthur. "This is your breakfast," she said and pushed her plate away.

"I don't want to eat that."

"So what do you want to eat?"

Arthur moved from his seated position and stood behind Katya's body. Then he brought his face close to Katya's ear which made her shudder in horror. "I want to eat you right now."

The restaurant was bustling with customers. Many foreign tourists stopped by and enjoyed the various menus available at Mahesa Resto.

Kevin sat by the window with a cup of coffee on the table. He had been waiting for Juan to come to the restaurant for about twenty minutes. Katya's wedding, which was not attended by her family, made Kevin curious about what really happened. There was no family connection between Kevin and Juan, but his interest in Katya made him want to know more. Because as long as he was close to Katya, all he knew was that Katya was not in a relationship with a man.

Juan got out of the car he had just parked. Seeing the arrival of the person he was waiting for, Kevin immediately got out and approached Juan.

"Juan!"

Juan's steps stopped when Kevin called out to him. "Kevin? What's wrong?"

"Why weren't you at Katya's wedding yesterday?" Kevin spoke straight to the point. Meanwhile, Juan who was asked such a question immediately fell silent.

Juan sighed. "Kevin, sorry, I have to go inside now. A lot of visitors are coming," he replied, which was actually diverting the conversation. Then he just walked away.

Kevin tugged at the corner of his lips. "I guessed right. Something must be wrong. Because no matter how busy Juan is, he'll still be with Katya on her happy day."

Meanwhile, in the white room, Juan sat in a daze. Maybe he was anxiously thinking about Katya. But he found it too hard to admit that he was really worried about his little sister.

Juan rubbed his face roughly. Then he pulled out a beeping cell phone from his pocket. There was an incoming message from an unknown number.

Thanks, Bro. Katya is that good

*Picture (Arthur sent a photo from the nightclub yesterday)

Juan's hand squeezed his cell phone tightly. How could Arthur take Katya into a nightclub and give her to the assholes there.

"ARGH! FUCK!"

***

Katya came out of the bathroom with her hair still wet. Her eyebrows knitted together when she saw Arthur giggling while staring at a cell phone screen. Not intending to ask any questions, she chose to sit at the vanity table and hurriedly dried her hair with the hairdryer.

"Ha! Ha! You dare to mess with me. You think I'm a little brat?"

Through the reflection of the mirror, Katya could see Arthur typing something there. I don't know what was displayed on the screen of her husband's cell phone that made him so happy.

Juan: Shit! What do you mean, take Katya to that godforsaken place?!

Arthur: Relax, bro. Katya enjoyed it too. Don't worry about it.

Juan: FUCK! I'LL SEE YOU TOMORROW NIGHT AT TEN AT THE BLACK TIGER BASE!

Arthur: My pleasure, bro, ha! Ha! Ha!

Arthur smiled with satisfaction at having successfully provoked Juan's emotions. "You think it's that easy to break up a relationship? You idiot," he thought to himself as he put his cell phone on the nightstand.

"Thirsty! Give me a drink!" Arthur exclaimed with his back leaning against the headboard.

Katya quickly put away her hairdryer and turned to look at Arthur. "What would you like me to make you?"

"Americano coffee." Arthur lifted the corners of his lips. "I want the one at Riel Cafe."

Katya was silent for a moment. Hadn't Arthur just said he was thirsty? And the Riel Cafe was quite far from here.

"I do have a lot of bodyguards that I can tell to do this and that. But you haven't forgotten that obeying your husband's orders is a wife's duty, right?"

"Yes. I'll go change first." Katya immediately went to the walk in closet to get dressed as she had only been wearing a bathrobe.

Arthur laid his body down with his hands as a cushion. In the past, Juan had had the heart to beat him severely for a mistake Arthur had not made. So now, don't blame Arthur for treating Katya as he pleases.
