Stefan dropped her off at work that morning and gave her a kiss on her cheek, which she thought was very very odd. She smiled at him and blew him a kiss as she watched him drive away. Then she went into the building. Everything seemed normal. She seemed fine, her coworkers greeted her and everyone's eyes seemed to be on her, watching her.
She felt uneasy and quickly scurried into Leticia's office. She was done with the piece she had asked her to work on.
"Hey, Leticia, it almost broke me," she sighed as she brought out a file from her bag, "but I did it. All typed and printed, all here in this file," she said, handing Leticia the file.
But Leticia's chair was facing backward. So she decided to turn the chair towards her, to face her.
The chair finally did a full 180-degree turn, but it wasn't Leticia that was seated.
It was Stefan. Dead, with a noose tied tightly around his neck, and his eyes popping out of its sockets.
