Chapter 334 - Selective Amnesia is a Necessary Skill

The following day in the afternoon, Nagasawa headed to Training Ground 16 as usual. For the past month and a half, he had been training Kakashi and the others there. Previously, he would teach them a bit, but now he sat there while practicing, waiting for Kakashi and the others to come and ask questions.

Nagasawa hoped that Kakashi and the others could integrate what they learned with their respective specialty to discover their own paths. Because Nagasawa's path was not easy, especially with techniques like Sun Breathing, which nobody in Konoha had managed to learn yet.

Most of Nagasawa's powerful techniques were the combination of Sun Breathing and Chakra. If they couldn't even grasp this foundation, there was little hope for more advanced techniques.

Setting Tremor-Tremor Fruit aside as it was something he couldn't teach, Nagasawa had already taught them almost everything. Taijutsu, Haki, Ninjutsu, so there wasn't much Nagasawa could teach now.

Nagasawa used to hope to get a powerful template like Six Paths Madara or Kaguya Otsutsuki, but now, he would be happier if he could get a template that could steadily and effectively enhance spiritual energy, even if they were weak. This would allow the body to reach a balance between spiritual and physical power, ultimately elevating a Shinobi's overall strength.

The key was that methods to increase spiritual energy were limited. It usually occurred through natural growth, experiencing various emotional events, or utilizing techniques related to Yin Release or Bloodline Limit.

Secret Techniques wouldn't remain a secret if they were taught to public, and many of them required specific conditions to learn. Bloodline limits were even more restricted. Furthermore, talents played a role in spiritual energy growth, but not everyone was born with exceptional talent.

Therefore, Nagasawa was searching for a method that could reliably and consistently enhance spiritual energy, even if it was somewhat less powerful. It would balance the spiritual and physical aspects of the body and boost overall power.

This would result in a rapid increase in Prosperity, which would in turn lead to more points.

Of course, if the difference between the templates was too huge, Nagasawa would choose the stronger one. For example, if he had to choose between a Super Saiyan 3 Goku and an ordinary Shinigami from Bleach, there was no doubt he would select Goku.

"Today, you don't need to train. Let's see the results of your training these past few days," Nagasawa announced.

"Woof woof!" Hearing that there would be no training today, Ashimaru was almost moved to tears. He had endured a lot during this past month and a half.

"Why are you happy just because we don't have to train, Ashimaru? It seems that you're still nowhere near my level yet. You still have a long way to go. Work harder," Midori Inuzuka said as if she was so proud of the result of her training.

In response, Ashimaru whimpered a bit. It seemed that she had forgotten that she was the first to celebrate when Nagasawa announced that there was no training today.

Kakashi also sighed with relief. His daughter was born about half a month ago, and he was quite busy at the moment. Sometimes, he had to stay up late to work on a perfect parenting plan, and having a more relaxing day was a welcome relief.

Kakashi had grown up without getting much love from his family, and he didn't want his child to experience the same.

His daily routine involved duty at the training grounds in the morning, two hours of training with Nagasawa in the afternoon, returning home at 4:00 PM, and then heading back to Training Ground 16 after 6:00 PM. Normally, he would practice for three more hours in the evening, but due to his newborn daughter, he had the privilege of a shorter training schedule for the time being.

Despite the tight schedule, Kakashi found himself enjoying his current life. It was better than the missions that required him to be away from the village for a long time, sometimes up to a month. His daughter was only half a month old, and he couldn't afford to be away for such a long time. His current life required him to return home every day.

"Don't get too excited yet. If the results you produce today don't satisfy me, I'll have to take some measures," Nagasawa warned, causing all of them to become serious.

Midori Inuzuka was instantly silent. If she couldn't deliver a satisfactory result, it wouldn't be Ashimaru who would suffer; it would be her.

"Who's going first?" Nagasawa asked, looking at the four of them.

As soon as Nagasawa finished speaking, Might Guy quickly stepped forward. His enthusiasm was apparent as he raised his thumbs up and shouted, "My youth is burning! Let me be the first to showcase my progress!"

"Alright, you can go first," Nagasawa agreed, motioning for the other three to step back a bit, giving the room for Guy.

"Sixth Gate: Gate of View, open!" Guy shouted as he immediately opened the Sixth Gate.

His aura became overwhelming, emitting green light, and his Chakra increased rapidly. The ground shook as he leaped into the air. Guy soared to an impressive height, and even those on the ground could feel the pressure emanating from him.

As Guy reached the highest point of his jump and began to descend, he focused all of his power into his index finger.

"Shigan: Meteor Dragon!"

The air pressure was so intense that it resembled a huge white dragon descending from the sky. Even before it reached the ground, a powerful gust of wind already knocked everything in its path away.

Finally, the white dragon crashed into the ground with tremendous force, severely damaging everything nearby.

Fortunately, everyone present was skilled Shinobi, or else the shockwave alone could have sent them flying.

Kakashi watched the deep hole on the ground and couldn't help but be impressed. Guy had used this technique during their battle, but it seemed he had improved it since then.

"Guy is truly terrifying," Kakashi thought, fearing that one day Guy might actually defeat him in battle.
