"What kind of gift do you want for your Academy admission?" Kabuto just asked bluntly.
It was too much for him to fight for world peace now.
"So that's how it is. Then you can give me a Kunai." Itachi smiled and said.
He did not refuse because they were friends.
And even if he refused, Kabuto would probably still buy a gift for him, so Itachi just asked for a modest gift instead to prevent Kabuto from buying anything expensive.
"Kunai? Sure." Kabuto nodded. Now that the matter of the gift had been resolved, he felt slightly at ease.
Then, the two of them began their training. First, they practiced Ninjutsu. Then, they purely used Taijutsu for one spar. After the battle ended, they rested for an hour, and then sparred again before practicing on their own.
The afternoon passed very quickly. Finally, before they parted ways, Kabuto suddenly remembered that he had said that he would introduce Hanayo to Itachi and Izumi, so that Itachi and Izumi would at least get to know their senior once they enrolled.
"Itachi. Let's invite Izumi for a lunch tomorrow. Consider it a celebration for your admission. I will also invite the friend I met at the Academy," Kabuto said.
"Sure, I will inform Izumi." Itachi nodded and left.
........................
After eating and sleeping comfortably, Nagasawa also prepared to go and obtain information about the last Sage Region, Shikkotsu Forest.
Nagasawa did not go to the hospital or medical division, but to a casino near Konoha.
As Nagasawa promised, he gave Tsunade a large sum of money and no longer restricted her activities after Nine-Tails' attack.
Perhaps she was afraid that her hard work would be ruined by others. Even if Nagasawa said that Tsunade was free to leave the village, she did not really care. Tsunade still did not leave Konoha, but her gambling addict once again relapsed because of the large sum of money that Nagasawa gave her.
On top of that, today was the weekend. No matter how Nagasawa thought about it, he felt that Tsunade would not be working in the medical division or even at home. She should be in a casino or a tavern.
Sure enough, as soon as Nagasawa entered the first casino, he saw Tsunade playing the slot machine.
Even if Tsunade was not wearing the loose coat she liked to wear, Nagasawa recognized her at a glance. After all, her chest was too conspicuous.
On top of that that, there was also Shizune who followed Tsunade all day long. She was carrying a little pig and always followed Tsunade. It was in fact more difficult not to notice them at first glance.
"Lord Tsunade, Lord Nagasawa is here." Shizune saw Nagasawa walking over, so she told Tsunade in a soft voice.
"Hmm?" When Tsunade heard that it was Nagasawa, she was about to get up and run away, but she remembered that this was a day off. What would Nagasawa do to her anyway? She sat down again and kept playing.
"Lord Tsunade, I said that Lord Nagasawa is here." When Shizune saw that Tsunade did not move, she thought that Tsunade did not hear what she said, so she repeated herself.
"So what if he is here? Is he going to drag me back even though this is a weekend?" Tsunade said annoyedly.
"Now that you mention it..." Shizune suddenly remembered that there was no reason for them to run this time.
They had already completed their deal with Nagasawa, and this was the weekend. Nagasawa had no reason to catch Tsunade.
"There's no way I would do such a thing to the First's granddaughter." Nagasawa teased Tsunade as he walked toward her.
"Are you here to give me money? I just happen to run out of money. Give me a million Ryo." Tsunade said to Nagasawa without a care.
"I don't have one million Ryo. How about five hundred thousand Ryo?" Nagasawa put a stack of money he carried with him into Tsunade's hands.
Tsunade's eyes lit up and she quickly shoved the money into her pocket, as if she was afraid that Nagasawa would go back on his word.
"Why are you suddenly so generous? You must be after something." Tsunade looked at Nagasawa suspiciously.
Ever since her first encounter with Nagasawa, she knew that Nagasawa wanted something from her every time he looked for her. Even if he didn't ask for anything at first, he would at least lay out the groundwork for his next request.
She also knew that despite how respectful Nagasawa addressed her, he simply treated her as a tool for his own convenience.
He was simply detestable, but she had no way to refuse, because Nagasawa made good offers in exchange for her help. He also did really well in convincing those stupid consultants.
"What are you saying, Tsunade-sama? I have always been very generous to you." Nagasawa looked at Tsunade innocently.
Most of his money from Golden Organization and other source were all given to Tsunade. He also offered a high salary for her in the village.
"Reward is reward. A favor is a favor. They are two different things. You still owe me a million Ryo for doing an S-level mission." Tsunade raised her head slightly.
"Tell me, what is it this time?"
"It's about the information about Shikkotsu Forest's Sage Mode that I asked you. How is the Slug Sage's response?" Nagasawa said the purpose of his visit.
"Ah that." Tsunade suddenly remembered.
She also didn't know why Nagasawa had so many things to do. Most people couldn't even learn Sage Technique even if they had someone to teach them, but Nagasawa didn't want to be taught in a remote place like Shikkotsu Forest.
Tsunade also negotiated with Nagasawa to give her 100 million Ryo in exchange for asking the Slug Sage to accept Nagasawa as her disciple and signed contract with Shikkotsu Forest. Unfortunately, Nagasawa insisted on refusing. He said that the information about the Sage Mode alone was enough.
"Slug Sage said that you have to see her before she can make a decision." Tsunade said.
"Again..." Nagasawa was slightly disappointed.
He originally thought that the friendly Slug Sage wouldn't mind giving it to him, but it seemed like he took it for granted.
However, it made sense. As one of the three Sage Regions, it was normal for her to be cautious of giving away the information about Sage Mode.
Moreover, the Slug Sage only requested to meet. It should be just like the Great Toad Sage.
It was not as troublesome as the White Snake Sage. He had to clear three trials just to see the White Snake Sage.
"Then I will have to trouble Lord Tsunade to take me to Shikkotsu Forest." Nagasawa said.
"I am very busy. There are so many things to do in the medical division. I will just tell you the direction. You can find it yourself." Tsunade refused.
"One million Ryo."
"The medical division is very busy."
"Two million."
"There have been a lot of work in the past week."
"Five million Ryo."
Tsunade looked at Shizune and asked, "Is there anything I need to do any time soon?"
"Not in two weeks." Shizune replied honestly.
"You're in luck. I just happen to have time, so I will go with you." Tsunade pretended to completely forget what she just said.
"Thank you, Lord Tsunade." Nagasawa smiled.
