Chapter 165 - Kakashi, Rin, and Obito

"But how about our age gap? Will it really be okay?" Hanabira said with some uncertainty.

"It's okay, Hanabira. You are so beautiful, cute, and kind. They will only envy me for finding you." Kakashi said as he turned Hanabira around and looked into her eyes.

"In a few days, I will talk to Minato-sensei and Squad Leader Nagasawa about this matter and ask them to help with the wedding."

Kakashi's parents were dead. The only people he respected now were Minato and Nagasawa, so he had to inform them first.

"It's all up to you." Hanabira nodded.

Because Kushina often visited her and told her a lot about the story between Kushina and Minato, Hanabira also thought highly of Minato.

He knew that Minato was an honest man who cherished his companions.

...

Early in the morning, Kakashi carefully got out of bed, trying not to wake Hanabira up.

Kakashi got changed and went out.

Since it was early August, the sun was already pretty bright, even in the early morning.

Kakashi took a deep breath, and the morning air was like slapping him awake.

Kakashi began to wander aimlessly with a reluctant look on his face.

There was still an hour before the training team gathered, so there was no need to rush to the Anbu base.

Although he seemed very determined in front of Hanabira, he was actually a little hesitant, not whether to abort the child or keep them, but whether he could be a good father and husband.

Then again, even if he was not prepared, he had to tackle this challenge head-on.

Kakashi began to try hard to recall how his father had been as a father.

But when Kakashi thought about it carefully, he realized that Sakumo Hatake did not do anything special. He just cooked for him, trained him, and sometimes taught him about some life motivation.

If it were just training and life motivation, then Nagasawa and Minato had also done the same to him.

In the end, Kakashi still could not think of what a good father should do.

Then he began to think about what he should do to be a good husband, which was even harder to think of because his mother had already died before he grew up.

He could not remember how his parent communicated with each other.

Kakashi kept thinking as he walked until he heard someone greeting him.

"Kakashi, good morning."

Kakashi looked up and saw a girl with shoulder-length black hair waving to him. It was Kurenai who was doing morning training.

"Kakashi, what are you thinking about with such a serious face? I've called you several times before you notice." Kurenai asked as she wiped the sweat off her forehead.

"Do you know how to be a good father?" Kakashi subconsciously said what he was thinking.

Kurenai: ???

This question clearly baffled Kurenai.

"Kakashi, what are you thinking? I wouldn't know about it even if you asked me." Kurenai was speechless.

"Sorry." Kakashi realized that it was inappropriate to ask that question to a girl of the same age, so he apologized.

"Forget it, it seems that you didn't do it on purpose." Kurenai forgave Kakashi.

"But, judging from your expression, something happened, didn't it?" Kurenai asked.

Kakashi thought for a while before finally saying, "I have a friend who is about the same age as me, and his girlfriend got pregnant recently. But he is too young and not ready to be a father. He doesn't know how to be a good husband. What do you think he should do?

"Your friend? Who is it?" Kurenai looked at Kakashi suspiciously. She felt that Kakashi was a little strange.

"You don't know him, and you won't know even if I tell you," Kakashi said without changing his expression.

"If that's the case, then just get married. If your friend doesn't know how to become a father, then he should work hard to become a father If they have a child before they get married, people will be suspicious right? They might even think he's a scum." Kurenai replied after thinking about it for a while

"But then, how should he learn?" Kakashi understood Kurenai's words and asked.

He could ask Minato and Nagasawa about Ninjutsu, but he didn't know who to ask when it came to being a good father.

Minato's child wasn't even born yet, so he was new to this, just like him. Nagasawa was even worse. Who knew when he would have a child?

"How would I know? You should tell your friend to ask a father." Kurenai shook her head.

Kakashi was speechless.

"But I can tell you how my father took care of me. You can at least tell that much to your friend."

"Thank you, Kurenai." Kakashi thanked Kurenai and was ready to hear what her father did.

"My father taught me since I was a child. He told me to work hard and inherit his Genjutsu. Obviously, teaching your child is a must as a father."

Kakashi nodded. This was also what Sakumo Hatake did to him.

"Also, a father must take good care of their child so that the child can feel the warmth from their father. When I was a child, my father..."

Kurenai noticed that Kakashi actually took out a pen and paper to take notes.

"Kakashi, the friend you are talking about, is it you?" Kurenai couldn't help but ask.

Kakashi quickly put back his pen and paper and calmly replied: "I told you that you don't know my friend."

Although people would know sooner or later, Kakashi felt that it was better to keep it a secret for the time being.

After wasting a bit of time on Kurenai, Kakashi had breakfast and bought some to Hanabira's house before going to Anbu base.

Now that the training team had undergone so much training, it was already on the right track. There was no need for him, to personally monitor the training.

Some of the experienced members could train the new recruit. All he had to do was give some pointers from time to time.

Since he had more power, he naturally had to take on more responsibilities. Now, the Fourth Hokage's Anbu had way more missions than before.

More than one-third of Anbu members carried out various missions.

Now Kakashi had developed a habit. He preferred to train in Anbu base so that he could ask Nagasawa directly if there was anything he didn't understand.

There was no need to worry about finding a worthy opponent. The other three team leaders were not weak, and Shisui, in particular, really stood out among the rest.

Kakashi knocked on the door and entered the Commander's office. Nagasawa was already working inside, but he didn't know if it were a Shadow Clone.

"Kakashi, is there a problem?" Nagasawa raised his head and asked.

"Nagasawa-sensei, I have something to tell you, but you must not tell anyone." Since he saw that there was no one else in the office, Kakashi whispered at Nagasawa.

"Alright." Nagasawa's expression was indifferent. He picked up the teacup and sipped the water.

"Well, Hanabira is pregnant with my child."

Pfffft!

The tea that Nagasawa just sipped spurted on Kakashi's face.

Looking at Kakashi's resentful eyes, Nagasawa immediately wiped Kakashi's face with a tissue.

"Hanabira? The Uzumaki Hanabira we brought from Kusagakure?" Nagasawa could not help but ask.

"Yes, it's her." Kakashi nodded.

Nagasawa fell into deep thought. He didn't expect that what he did would cause such a big change in the plot, and now Kakashi had a child as a result!

Then again, as expected of Kakashi! He actually had a child! No wonder Nagasawa sometimes felt that Kakashi was a lot weaker. It turned out that he was having some "fun" behind his back.

"When did you get together?" Nagasawa asked curiously.

"I'm the one who told you about her and asked to bring her back to Konoha, right? Because of that, I felt responsible. I was just afraid that she was not used to Konoha, so I went to see her from time to time, and then eventually, we got together."

"What are you going to do? If you are not prepared to take responsibility, Minato and I definitely can't stop Kushina from kicking your ass." Nagasawa emphasized the graveness of the problem.

Hanabira was Kushina's only fellow clansman in Konoha, and with her good personality, they got really close in a relatively short time.

If Kakashi dared to do something that would disappoint Hanabira, Kushina might have to show Kakashi how powerful she was.

"Nagasawa-sensei, who do you think I am? There's no way I won't take responsibility, but I am just a little worried now." Kakashi was at a loss.

"What's there to be worried about? Hanabira is beautiful and kind, and she is from Uzumaki Clan. That's more than you can ask for." Nagasawa said with a smile.

"But can I be a father?" Kakashi said with some uncertainty.

"She just got pregnant, right? Minato's child will be born soon. Once his child was born, you can just learn from Minato."

"If Minato does a good job, you can copy it. If Minato doesn't do a good job, you take that as a lesson." Nagasawa suggested.

"Is that all?" Kakashi looked at Nagasawa suspiciously. He felt that Nagasawa just playing with him.

"You can also find some relevant books in the bookstore?" Nagasawa continued.

Hearing this, Kakashi's eyes lit up. He finally got a reliable advice.

"When are you going to get married?" Nagasawa asked.

"In the near future, maybe in a week or two," Kakashi replied.

Since Hanabira was pregnant, Kakashi did not want Hanabira to wait for too long. He didn't mind if the wedding was a simple one as long as he could do it as fast as possible.

"Well, I will give you an exclusive two weeks' leave this time. Before this matter is settled, you don't have to come to the base." Nagasawa directly gave Kakashi a two-week vacation.

Now, the Fourth Hokage Anbu had a lot of people, and it had many capable Shinobi. One less Kakashi would not affect Anbu.

"By the way, even if you don't have to come to the base, you can't miss my training tonight." Nagasawa reminded him.

Kakashi:...

He thought he would be able to relax for two weeks, but he still had to be beaten up.

"You can't miss the training until you can 100% use Color of Arms Haki," Nagasawa said with a smile.

Kakashi nodded. He knew that Nagasawa was doing this for his own good, so he did not say anything and turned around.

When he was about to walk out…

"By the way, you can't do that thing during pregnancy. Be sure to control yourself!" Nagasawa reminded Kakashi, who was about to leave the office.

Hearing this, Kakashi almost fell. Did Nagasawa think that Hanabira got pregnant because they did it too often?

Because Nagasawa gave him a holiday, Kakashi would gladly accepted it. He informed his team members and left the Anbu base.

As he walked past the flower shop, Kakashi thought for a moment and stopped. He then bought a few flowers and walked toward the Memorial Stone.

Kakashi walked to Rin's tombstone and cleaned it before he squatted down. He looked at Rin's tombstone and slowly said:

"It's been a while since I talked to you, please forgive me because I have been busy recently, busy with training, missions, and all sorts of things. Rin, I don't know how you are doing in the other world, but I'm living a good life now, and I'm steadily getting stronger. I also found a person who loves me. Konoha is also doing well. With Minato-sensei here, although I can't guarantee anything now, I can feel that Konoha will prosper soon. By the way, do you remember Squad Leader Nagasawa that I told you last time? He is a very good senior. When he is training, he is very serious and meticulous, but on casual occasions, he will make all kinds of jokes. Whenever something happens to us, he will try his best to help us."

Kakashi patiently talked about all the things he had encountered in the past few days.

There was a story of him being questioned by some people because he was young when he first entered Anbu.

There were also all kinds of boring daily life stories.

After that, Kakashi said, "Rin, you might not believe me, but I am going to get married soon. I find it hard to believe myself, but life is just so unpredictable. I hope you can live happily in another world. I'm leaving, Rin."

Kakashi then went to Obito's tomb, cleaned up Obito's tombstone briefly, and put two flowers there.

Just like with Rin, Kakashi also chatted with Obito for a while and finally left.

But what Kakashi did not know was that after he left, a man in a black robe suddenly appeared, coldly looking at Kakashi's back.

Obito grabbed Kakashi's flower and threw it away.

"You don't deserve to pay respects to Rin since you can't protect her."

After that, Obito looked at Rin's tombstone and said in a deep voice, "Rin, don't worry. Eye of the Moon Plan is about to start soon. At that time, the real peaceful world will come, and you will be reborn.

"We will live happily together in the world without war and eternal peace."
