"Is this something we should be glad about? ''Ezra asked,facing the other elders of the crystal palace who had arrived upon the Highlord's order.
"Ofcourse we should, thing's would ease out soon seeing that he's got his visions again,or don't you get it?"Noah asked,it was obvious that he was happy about what's going on with Seth.
"The tension tonight about the cursed prince, still alive, has everyone on edge.What we did was rash of us upon the young boy"Noxa whispered to the other woman by her side,an act that she was careful of,because she was scared of Celio hearing their discussion.
Everyone was present tonight,and agile to know what the seer had in-store for them.But there's been no news yet,as he's still zoned out but he's not moving anymore,and was staring blankly into space.
The fact that they had hurt Damon hundred years ago,didn't settle well with few who had no deal with what he had done.
But it was all because of the Highlord, and the orders that everyone was bound to abide in or face the consequences.
"Shh,Noxa.Be quiet"Agora shushed the woman,when she noticed how Celio tightened his fist around the edge of the seat he sat on.
Well,this time around it was just the twelve elders of the palace who were here.The grand circle had much more pressing matters to deal with, pressing matters which involved conducting investigations on the rebels, that worked for the dark lord's who were caught not long ago hovering around the palace.
Celio couldn't hide it anymore,it wasn't just him.Everyone was affected by the red sky because it belonged to him.
Damon.
He was born with it,and with that symbol sitting right there instead of the normal blue cloudy sky,why won't everyone be eager to know if he was back?
If there's anyone who would be glad enough to hear that he's always alive,that would be the dark lord's that he had worked with, before he was sent to that cave for his punishment.
Lucifer lied.
He could have pushed the matter forward, and had a thorough investigation done on his rebellious son,than have let him go because of lack of substantial evidence.
No one could see it,but he can.
Including seth who haven't said a word, but had his white iris staring at the sky while muttering inaudible words that he knew nothing of.
He heard it.
The murmurings of everyone,they were talking about Damon as if he was some messiah who everyone has been waiting for.
The guts of them to do that in his presence,it took the last bit of patience,and a reminder that killing Noxa right now would add more to the problems at hand.
Besides, being on the bad side of the fairies was something he wasn't sure of right now,but eventually she would get what is coming for her for taking that bad about him.
"Isn't he pretending?"Asher cutted in, pushing him out of his thoughts into reality,which had him frowning at his choice of words.
"What?"
Everyone gasped at the young man's words,clearly it was obvious that they were losing patience with Seth but no one was brave enough to talk about it.
But someone did.
Asher,the youngest member of the organization,a first class wizard that wasn't that much an ally of the Highlord because of his connections with Lucifer.
"Oh! Don't pretend that you all aren't tired of sitting and watching him pretend,that he has anything valuable to say when he has nothing!"
He added, averting his gaze from Celio who he knew by now his anger was on another level,but that's what he wanted.
He wanted to make him and Seth the bad guy,a revenge that he had been planning all along for what he did to his relation,Damon.
"Stop it Asher,this isn't something that would be taken as a joke.Its been years since the seer got a vision, shouldn't you be happy that he has something after all these years?"
Leo,the council head intervened when he saw how pissed the highlord was,he knew it was only about time before a fight erupts, and they distract the seer which was something they didn't want.
"I apologize if i sound annoyed,but how sure are we that this is not some plan to make us believe that he's still useful to us,huh?"The wizard added,he was adding much more fuel to the flame he had just ignited tonight.
All he wanted was for this to be over,so that he could join Lucifer to go see his son,Who he too believes he's not dead either.
No one believes that,and he could see that's what troubled the Highlord and the pretentious seer,who had acted as if he was on their sides by saying a false prophecy about Damon, just so that they could humiliate Lucifer to the highest point.
"Asher!!"Noxa and Agora called.
"Then are you trying to say that the Highlord is a liar?"Amon interceded inplace of Celio.
"Who knows? It was just the both of them until this happened"Asher stood his ground,with no plan of making things any easier for Celio who was overthinking things right now.
"Guards!"Mammon called Raphael and his army to take down Asher,a punishment awaited him for what he just did.
"That's enough",Celio spoke up, shutting everyone up before he stood up, and walked till he was standing in front of Asher.
He didn't budge a bit,nor corner a little bit in fear of loosing his life. Rather,he only smiled before pointing at the huge clock that stood in the hall.
"Five more minutes until his resurrection"He snickered,making others gasp at his audacity by indirectly mocking Celio, while reminding him about Damon that would soon be awake.
He wanted to speak more,but was grabbed by his neck by a fuming Celio who allowed his feelings to cloud his judgment,by tightening his hold on his neck,while lifting him off the ground.
"My Lord"Everyone called him.
"Tamper justice with mercy, he doesn't know what he's doing",Leo,the council head begged.
"Is he going to kill him?"Noxa asked Agora,who smacked her hard in her head.
"Apologize now!"Leo shouted at Asher, but he snickered while coughing loudly.He had no intentions of doing what he was just told.
"It's best to get rid of an incompetent fellow,the council can do without him"The blind man in their mist, Mario spoke.
"Now Asher!"
"What sort of a lord would the people portray him to be if he kills one of his own?"
Asher sassed again,and this time around he saw a ball of lightning forming in Celios other hand,ready to kill him until another explosion went off the moment it was twelve.
It knocked everyone to the ground,except from celio who turned to look back at the sky before rushing into the constellation room.
"He's…alive",Asher muttered, staggering before standing as the others did so too.
"How is that possible?"Leo asked,no one in particular.
"He's coming for you all,you all underestimated him.I warned you al…",Asher stood in front of them, yelling ill profanities at them but his statement was cut short, by the sudden lightening bolt that rained down on him from the red sky,thus slicing his body into two square parts.
He fell dead right of them.
"What the…get down everybody!",Leo yelled,but it was too late for everyone to understand what exactly was going on.
The strike caught on two other members,a shrill scream leaving Agora's lips.
"What is going on?!" Noxa yelled at no one in particular.
A question that needed no answer, because they all knew what is happening.They all knew that he was innocent.
He was only trying to save the life of a baby,but they condemned his soul by choosing to follow protocols,laws by the Highlord who was no where to be found at this critical time.
Damon is back,and he's going to rain down hell on everyone.
No one would be spared!
