All are excited and are getting ready in advance.
But I am not! My parents won't talk to me at all. They are still mad.
But I know that they saw the live final screening and knew that George and I passed. But they acted as if they didn't see me at all!
Sometimes it's hard being the only child. You need to follow your parents will even if you don't like it!
But when I reached College I couldn't follow them as I don't like being a Teacher. I don't have any issues with this course but I love accounting the most! But they won't understand at all.
Now, another silent dinner. But I need to ask for their permission at least. Although I already know the outcome. They are still my parents and I still respect them.
"Mom, Dad. I'm leaving tomorrow." I said in a hushed voice.
But I know that they heard me. When my Mom makes some noise using a spoon over her plate.
"What's the use of telling us? Even if we say no. You will still go. You don't respect us anymore!" My Mom angrily answered.
I'm a grown-up lady but why do I feel like being a child?
My actions are limited and I can't even choose the things that I like.
And I felt suffocated! I can't breathe and move freely. They are always against me.
They can't even support what I like because they want me to follow what they like!
"I told you as a sign of respect. But sometimes, I feel like I am not your real daughter! Am I adopted? Because all I did in my life is wrong into your sight!" And that's it. I wanted to release my frustrations for all these years.
I can't even have their support! In their eyes, I am not a perfect child.
This is me!
Why can't they accept it?
"Mine your manners, Catherine. You are not adopted and we are your real parents!" My Father angrily said.
I am not adopted but why I felt suffocated? What the hell with this?
"Fine, but as your real daughter. Hopefully, you will respect my decision. I am going to Switzerland. If I win then we will become a billionaire!" I said.
"We don't need that money! That dirty ungodly money! Don't you dare bring it inside our house!" My Mom shouted.
There's no use in arguing with them! They are religious and value their morality the most.
But I'm tired of all of it!
I want some adventure and this is an opportunity for me.
At first, I don't like it. But now, I'm confident that George and I will survive this game!
"Okay, then I will not. But I am still going. Hopefully, you two will respect my decision." I answered calmly.
There's no use in arguing. My parents are closed-minded. I just hope that they will let me live the life that I want!
"You are influenced by that boyfriend of yours. I don't like that man!" My mom answered with disgust.
"His name is George and I love him! I'm done eating." I said then stand up and walk away.
I still need to pack my things. George said that everything is ready and so excited to fly to Switzerland.
THE LUST ISLAND
After saying goodbye to my friend Monet, my Boss, and co-workers. We fly to Switzerland. My parents didn't show up at the airport until the end. They are still disgusted with me. But I want to push it through until the end of the game. I was permitted to leave work until the game is finished.
My boss is very supportive and I appreciate it.
And we are here now at last in Switzerland!
From the airport, we ride a luxurious yacht.
"Babe, this place is awesome!" George said happily.
"Yeah, with free food and drinks. I'm nervous about what is waiting for us on this island." I answered sincerely.
"Tsk! Don't be. We will win and surpass all temptations!" George said confidently.
And it boosts my self-esteem and gives me courage. George is determined to win and that's the spirit!
"You're right! We will win this game and go back to the Philippines with billions in our bank account!" I answered.
"So, confident girl! I like the spirit but hopefully, you two are not sex monsters." Someone chimes in with our conversation.
She's a contestant just like us. Wearing a sexy tube dress. Looking at George seductively.
My brows raise out of anger but I manage to calm down.
What the hell is she talking about?
Sex monsters?!
"We are not a monster miss-. We love each other and we will surely win." George answered and kiss me in front of her.
"Oh, how sweet! I wish my boyfriend is just like you Mr.?" She asked.
"His name is not for free. I'm sorry Miss?" I asked raising my eyebrow.
"Oh My! What a fierce girlfriend you are. But good luck if you can stand all the TEMPTATION at Lust Island. Hahaha." She answered laughing and walked away.
Crazy!
George hug me lovingly. Feeling the warmth of his body.
"That's my girl! You slay it, Babe." He said.
And I only smile at him.
We heard someone at the microphone that we arrive at Lust Island!
And it's wow!
The island is so beautiful. With white sand and clean water. The fresh air of nature and the sea.
The trees are perfectly arranged with a little bamboo house.
There are lots of bamboo houses scattered all over.
The island is so big. There's a banner at the front saying, "Welcome Participants!"
"Welcome everyone!" A man greeted us at the entrance.
All answered happily but I was surprised when I see other participants.
They are all foreigners and are from different countries.
We are so many!
300 I guess.
But nothing to worry the Island is wide and big.
It can accommodate all of us.
I look up and am amazed by its name. THE LUST ISLAND.
Is this true lust in here?
Will I get tempted?
How about George?
Will we survive here?
There are so many questions in my mind right now.
But one thing is for sure.
I will survive for George and our relationship.
It is a good trial for the two of us of how strong and solid we are.
We walked slowly and George is holding my hand. While my mind is blank and floating.
There are so many couples happily walking inside.
But the question is...
Are we still smiling when we walked outside of this island?
The punishment is not a joke!
It will ruin our relationship for real and I don't want this to happen.
Someone bumps into me and I nearly trip my foot. Good thing that I'm holding George's hand.
"Sorry." The man said.
"It's okay-" I am surprised when I see him again!
The Devil Bastard!
He is a contestant too?!
