DETECTIVE GREGORY'S POV
We arrived at the crime seen, blood all over everywhere. The flesh is not fresh but I can still hear the spewing of the blood dropping from the body. The girl's body is hung up onto the wall by a big nail pushed into her forehead. Her heart is ripped out. The whole thing is just catastrophic. The victim is Jade Helga an 18 year old college student up to this time I could still be thankful since he didn't lay hands on children and minors. We are never certain about his next attacks, he is unpredictable.
"Sir the forensic units are on the way." my buddy said, Oliver. "Make sure to not destruct or hold any evidences, or else we can't use it." I commanded him.
After a very fraught day, I went home and made myself dinner. It's 11 in the evening when I decide to eat. Being home late is convenient for me, so I won't feel lonely. All I got to do is work, get home, eat, and sleep. No dramas, I don't like being attached. Being attached to someone flips me off, I was traumatized by love. My parents left me to my mom's sister. My aunt is a substance addict and she continuously abuse me since 13 up to 17 years old. I live up thinking I was not deserving to be loved. So at all cost, I would avoid it. When I reached legality, that is when I decide to leave and work at the same time study college.
I'm on my bed laying until I fall asleep since I'm not into using gadgets, I would rather spend all my free hours reading books. I'm almost falling into a deep sleep when my phone rings. "Hello?" I mutter, "Sir you need to get her, we have a witness." without any questions I directly hung up, didn't even dare to change my t-shirt I just get any sweatpants that I could reach and dressed while taking the stairs, I was so tense that I almost fell. I took my car keys jumped on my car and went straight to our office. When I arrived there, I caught up my teammates interviewing a girl I immediately rush into the room and read the papers explaining what happen. I wait for a couple of minutes and my heartbeat is rushing so fast thinking that this might be the end of his killing spree. At last it is my turn to interview the victim when she says...
