The battle began with an explosion, followed by a pained screech as a Desert Worm destroyed a golem with a casual chomp down only to receive a severe blow as the golem exploded in its mouth, blowing it apart.
It had no eyes but Felix could have sworn that it was glaring at him.
In response to his blatant show of force, as he attacked only one Desert Worm with all the golems, the other Worms converged at his location.
Nathan looked at this scene and cursed.
There was no way they could win!
Gritting his teeth, he knew however that they had to at least try something to escape, or else they wouldn't even get the chance to flee later on.
Thankfully the supposed S-class Desert Worm hadn't moved yet and a bunch of A-ranks would only serve as a bother for Nathan and not an actual threat, so he moved.
