Felix glared hatefully at Charlie before turning away.
Even though he was unwilling to let things go, he couldn't afford to face off against two high-ranked Awakened.
So he chose to withdraw… for now that is.
"This is not over," Felix muttered.
Charlie snorted. "Count yourself lucky, piece of trash."
A vein popped on Felix's head as he barely suppressed the urge to attack the bastard.
At that moment, the tremor they felt had increased in intensity, giving off a feeling as though it were moving in their direction.
"Something is coming," Nathan said with a grimace.
Almost as though it was a tacit agreement to Nathan's words, a dust cloud soon came into view.
It was dense enough to bloat out a portion of the sun as it charged toward Felix's location.
Nathan focused his vision on the dust cloud in a bid to make out its origin.
A second later and he withdrew it as his expression fell. "A stampede."
"What?" Charlie was stunned.
He quickly looked over as well.
