Chapter Nineteen
The motel was dead silent for a couple of minutes after the reveal that detective Charles knew Jude. It took the realization that time was passing for one to speak.
Charles began asking some questions, questions he knew were going to be difficult to answer. But he gave them a shot anyway.
Cecilia looked and sounded a bit hysteric, but Jude kept his composure.
Whilst Jude thought of getting his family back and even though both Charles and Cecilia wanted the best for him, the topmost priority at that particular moment was to find out who supposedly killed Mr. Hershold and why they wanted Mrs. Hershold dead, part of a bigger plot.
